This episode aired almost exactly a year before i was born. Here i am, a 36 year old man, enjoying this almost as much as I recall as a small child. How incredible to reminisce, i remember it well, yourself included George. Congratulations on a wonderful career impacting the minds of generations of young aussies. Very admirable.

They need to put the 80's and 90's episodes on I View. I was 4 when this one aired, and remember watching it. It would of been epic if they paired up George with John Hamblin in one episode.

George will always be my favourite. Give me a rocket clock, a rolling ball day of the week and a George and I'll be set even now as an almost 34yo.

Wow did Play School for 25 years!! That’s amazing George! You were one of my favourite presenters! I loved your sense of humour. I grow up in the 90’s and Play School was the best during that period.

The Roses chocolate box on their collage makes me feel nostalgic. My Mum and I would share a box if I was a good little boy.

Childhood memory unlocked, he was just brilliant. I didn't realise he was in Sweet & Sour (1984-5) too.

It's been my dream to finally see this 😀 George was also my favourite presenter and I've also wondered what it would've been like if he was paired with John Hamblin for an episode, but sadly it never happened. The Tuesday episode of the Wool and Threads week was the first of many that George hosted with Benita, would be great to see that one too sometime.

I’ve never met George, but I have met Phillip, very nice fellow! I’ve also met Benita and Jay in person and I’ve met Colin Buchanan, Don Spencer and Alister Smart online!

George of course would usually present Play School with a lady, but he’s first and last episodes ever were with a man. His last episode ever was with Colin Buchanan where they did jobs at a house.

How come Philip stepped in to replace the woman who break her leg instead of another woman like Benita, Merridy, Noni or Jennifer? Were there no other women available or what?
