Normally, there are four narrative tenses, the past simple, the past continuous, the past perfect and the past perfect continuous.... But the most important one is the past simple 👍

Thanks a lot teacher 🙏, I hope you're doing well. as usual I have a question for you hhh, could you please clarify why did you use the past perfect progessive instead of the past perfect in sentence number 14? Because we have the verb " to see " and it's a stative verb, besides if we talk about how many times something happend in a period up to a particular past time, I believe that we use the past perfect.

please sir, you said that "always" must be used with past perfect, but all teachers I know say that it is the indicator of present simple because 'always" refers to the repetition(routine), how it comes ? may you explain me more please, and sorry for disturbing

حاجة بديهية ومن المسلمات اختي الكريمة تنستعملوها مع Present Simple as an adverb of frequency. To talk about how often someone does something ممكن أيضا استعمالها مع The part simple to talk about a routine in the past أنا مكلتش هاكذاك اختي الكريمة رجعي سمعي مزيان مرة أخرى ملحوظة : راه ممكن تستعمليها مع أزمنة أخرى غير The present simple هاد المستوى هو لي تيكون غالبا في السياق يعني Study by context نصيحة : نساي داكشي لي قريتي في المدرسة أو لي قراو الأساتذة وحاولي تبدلي النظرة ديالك للغة بطريقة جديدة و بدون خوف من الوقوع في الخطأ لأن المشكل للأسف علمونا نكونو ربوات حافظين ما فاهمين... كوني أكيدة غادي تمشي مزيان لأن من السؤال ديالك عندك مستواك يؤهلك لذلك

Teacher , "see" is a stative verb we should not add ing in this context.

I know, but in this context we have t use the past perfect continuous. Try to have a look at special cases when w can add - ing to some stative verbs (just google it) All the best Tip! In this context you can use the past perfect 2 ( as I said the context which matters) in BR English , the progressive "see" has a special idiomatic meaning

شوفي باش تفهمي مزيان ميمكنش وراء before ديري شي زمن من غير past simple هادي أولا عقلي عليها مزيان ثانيا، ميمكنش نديرو saw علاش ؟ حيت السياق هو لي تيبين لينا، حيت اذا استخدمنا saw غادي نكونو قتلنا القاعدة حيت دائما تيكون عندنا اما Past perfect او past perfect continuous ملي تيكون عدنا كلمة before يعني. القاعدة 1 past perfect + before + past simple 2 past perfect continuous + before + past simple هنا درنا Past perfect continuous كيفما كلت ،حيت حيت الحدث وقع جوج ديال المرات ماشي سالا في الماضي ملاحظة : هاد النوعية ديال الأسئلة خاصها التركيز حيت بززاف ديال الأصدقاء راسلوني على نفس الإشكال... نتمنى تكون الفكرة واضحة الان. بالتوفيق

Listen 👂 The past perfect tense expresses a past action, already finished when another past action happened; the past perfect continuous tense describes a past action which started in the past and continued to happen after another action or time in the past... Meaning, these tenses are a bit confused for some students to understand since the time expressions aren't the only clues to get the right answer. As I mentioned B 4 you have to pay attention to the context 2.. All the best
