Thank you for posting this. I did at home IPL on my chin, breasts, and neck and it stimulated more hair growth ): Laser on my abdomen and underarms barely lasts for me and the hair grows back patchy and looks weird. There's not many videos on electrolysis so I appreciate you sharing your experience! :)

thank you for your video, how much longer will electrolysis take? what are the average amount of sessions for permanent results? I know its permanent for each individual hair but the regrowth and allowing it to keep regrowing is a problem for me as i need it on my face

It varies from person to person but can take an average of 2 years with regular treatments

HI Melis! Your mistake was in choosing a clinic. Laser and IPL are different technologies and for your skin type IPL is not suitable for you; laser was best for you. Then there would be an excellent result. And with IPL, the effect is usually minimal and often the opposite effect of stimulating hair growth. IPL is excellent for skin rejuvenation, for acne treatments, for vascular treatments, rosacea. Is could be used on hiher settings for hire removal for skin type 1-3... your skin type is 4 by Fitzpatric... and not best for IPL... that why you didn't see good results. But yes electrolysis is great but takes more time than laser.

Yes I wish i didn’t do it at work just for convenience. If I knew you back then, I would have come to your clinic! Now i am so scared of doing IPL or laser on certain body parts and hair types, I just lean towards electrolysis for peace of mind 😇 I really appreciate your explanation and the information that you share about laser and IPL it’s very helpful thank you!

what is the best laser to use, my friend got laser, i think now it was ipl, and she ended up stimulating hair and growing in areas that didnt have any before. I am always 50/50 because some people are completely bold and others it has created new problems even though they were all the same skin tone

@munaali840 The best lasers are Alexandrite and NdYAG . It could be any companies, Cynosure/Candela / Deka/ Quanta, or other NOT Chinese machines. Diode with gel is less painful but less effective. All powerful lasers, unfortunately, are painful. Like you doing electrolysis is same painful but because you doing each follicle separate it's a bit less painful. When doing with laser, you heat for 1 shoot around 5-50 depending on spot size and area. And where less hair is less painful... The most important experience of laser therapists is that it could be the most modern machine, but if the therapist uses the wrong settings or no results or burns or could stimulate hair growth.

Looking at both images I can see a huge difference around navel area I'm not a professional but if that area was not shaved but if electrolysis was carried out it would be a different situation results are good 😉 and really amazing ❤
