This is a real gem. Salik’s book “zikr-e-Iqbal” tells us truth about Iqbal, without excessive adulation. Salik also wrote a poem against Iqbal when he took the title of “Sir” from the British with the title “Sir ho gaye Iqbal”. He severely criticized Iqbal alongside Maulana Muhammad Ali Zafar who also wrote poems against Iqbal.

Great to hear Maulana Salik Sahib a great literarian and a journalist of his time. Maulana Mehr and Salik were associated with the Zamindar newspaper. Maulana Zafar Ali Khan were also associated with them.
