If the tourists are no longer allowed to touch the houses then the female officer should stop petting the horse in front of the tourists. You will have tourists watching her and will feel they can do the same even if the sign says not too. Just like the old sign said do not touch the reins. The tourists touch them anyway.😡

The horses are less stressed along with the horse guards with new signs saying do not touch the horse. Before the new signs were put up, many disrespectful tourist were mauling the poor horses, touching the guards boots and pulling on the horses reins. Talk about a stressful job for the police, horse guards and the horses. Unreal!

Sad, just sad. When I was in the US Army, and was on guard duty, it was to protect the government property and those inside. We had one very bad day in 1957. In the town in France where we had an outpost, we did our guard duty. Armed and there to protect. It was on May Day and in the town was a bar owned by a known communist and serving communists. Well they decided this holiday for them, that they would become brave and attempted to attack our Caserne. They came with guns and other weapons. A very big mistake. There were four of us and two military police. The commie's, all eight were put down. Three dead and five seriously wounded. The French police(Gendarmes) quickly showed up and arrested the wounded and hauled them away. The point of this is that the King's Guards and the MOD police do very little to stop the crisis of the disrespectful tourists. These people are here as guests and should know not to think they can do whatever they damn well please. There is know excuse for the Guards and police to allow them to run rampant. Nuff Said

MoD Officer # 1015 is truly an excellent officer. She definitely has a lot more patience than I would have! There are horses 1,000+ lbs that can squash someone into a stain on the pavement and they still don't get it. Asian tourists can be so dumb. Granted, they are not nearly as rude and self-entitled as the orthodox/Hasidic groups.
