The Life Guards wear their straps in the traditional way, because while fighting if the helmet fell backwards you would not be beheaded. The B&R wear theirs under their chin, don't know why 🤷‍♀️ maybe someone here with more military knowledge can explain the difference 🤔

The ignorance & disrespect of the tourists is disgusting. How would they liked to be harassed at their jobs? I have watched several of these videos and it's a shame really how the tourists behave. The composure of the guards is commendable for what they have to endure. Much like police here in the USA, they get no respect for doing their job and putting their lives on the line daily.

As usual the police are half asleep and arrive after the guards have been abused. They need to switch on better and be more supportive to the guards, at the moment they clearly are not !

@@george-ev1dq Be more proactive, they stand around in pairs talking and not paying enough attention to the public, basically they are there too support the guards, this they sadly lack.

@@thedangler1754 Those police are MOD and have zero powers outside the gates, there is a distinct lack of supervision inside the gates as well, I would suggest the MOD employ a few tour guides/ supervisors to keep people in line instead of relying on the guards to do a lot of shouting.
