Everyone is telling that the ending is sad but I feel that the story has got a perfect ending because a girl suddenly cannot switch the feelings if she suddenly comes to know that Fakhar is devdas...and at the end it was a perfect scene when fakhar told her that he is abdullahpur ka Devdas...I think season 2 jald ayega❤ kyunki now devdas ki baari khatam...paro ki tadapne ki baari shuru as she came to know that he is the real devdas and she cannot leave kashif as they're married

I think the story has already ended. Although she was smitten by "Devdas" she still with time fell in love with Kashif. Kashif made some reckless decisions but he also went through a lot. Fakhar chose God at the end instead of anyone because a mere human's love can never compete with the love of God. Gulbano and Kashif got their happy ending and even if Gulbano lives with guilt for calling Fakhar names and annoying him so much, the story has still ended on a good note. There could be a potential season 2 but such dramas never get renewed for new seasons.

I love the love stories portrayed in this dramas. Every single one are important and needed. 1. Fakhar- His love for a girl he fell in love with. A story he believed all his life that an angel will come. He almost ruined himself for her,and loved her so much that he let her go. He gave his best friend his ultimate happiness too. 2. Kashif- What started as a innocent joke ended up causing him a lot of trouble. Torn between lover and brother/bff he chose his best friend and left everything behind. 3. Bedaar- he didn’t necessarily love Gulbano, but was impressed with her beauty 4. Shehroze- I think he could’ve been a really good guys if he was raised right. His dad raised him wrong, as well as the step mom acting up and slowly feeding him poison ruined a good guy. He truly love Gulbano and was crazy for her. But he didn’t realize how to get her love I do feel bad for him. He wasn’t bad a heart, all he needed was proper guidance from his dad. 5. Shahenshah- Stayed his entire life in jail for another women who had married and had a son with someone else. Usually ppl consider these ppl cheaters but he didn’t. He loved her despite all the circumstances. 6. Kashif Mother- Some may say that she loved Fakhar due to his money I personally don’t think so. She considered him more than a son. She genuinely loved him and it’s sad he didn’t give her the same amount of love backl he went after Gulbano not realizing her love, 7. Jameela- She spent her entire childhood and adult life living for Fakhar she gave ppl money, went to his house looked after him yet never got his love back. Truly beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. If only he looked at her ONCE.

Love this comment. Each story and character shows a different side to love. Although there were many loopholes and unexplained conveniences in the script such as how gulbano just happens to end up where Fakhar is all the time. Highly unlikely. Despite all this it was enjoyable and Bilal made it watchable with a great performance as always. I find kashif irritating and dorky, Sarah was so annoying throughout. Others did ok. I really thought Kashif would grow a backbone and say something and clarify to her about who APKD is, so she can see everything clearly and make up her mind but he sat there happy as ever on his wedding knowing he’d taken his brothers girl. The fact he keeps saying this girl is “like gulbano” makes me think how he knows that? Clearly he’s seen her and when he finds out who gulbano is that is the point he should stop and be honest with her that it’s not him but he doesn’t. I’m glad in the end though fakhar deserves better and so him telling her who he is and leaving is the perfect punishment for her. She won’t be able to live with knowing that

@Keepithalal you literally stated what I was thinking. I felt that they did spend many scenes on unnecessary drama instead of answering questions on hand. Kashif: He should've told Gulbano the truth that he isn't the real Devdas. He kept it away from her. Although I understand that they were trying to portray a guy torn between love and brother, they did it quite poorly. They had enough time to have him at least tell someone abt this. He tells Qandeel to help him get Fakhar and Gulbano close. Yet he doesn't tell her to tell gulbano the truth. Also, when fakhar comes to see him when he's going crazy there is NO question abt what happened to him. He couldn't move due to pain, yet no one revealed that he had been in an accident. Fakhar: i think it was dramatized that he finds gulbano everywhere he goes. Even when he saves her from shahroze. But I can forgive this due it being a very dramatized story. But how did he get so successful overnight and didn't have ANY issues? Gulbano: I think she is one of the most poorly written main protagonist ot ALL time. She is a horrible human being altogether. She had four men fall in love with her and she used one after another to feel better. She said yes to Bedaar to escape shahroze. When bedaar died she was way too chill. Not even sad nor any care in the world. What's frustrating is that she never got to find out that Fakhar didn't kill him. Or that Jahanara made this lie up. She is in Abdullahpur now and still doesn't realize that Fakhar and Kashif are bff/brothers. If we look at it from Gulbanos POV I still can't justify her selfishness. The way she showed an attitude to Fakhar in front of Qandeels brother shows she has NO MANNERS. She also disliked that ruby was dating qandeels brother. She got mad. As if no one is allowed happiness. It makes no sense. She's so deet and stubborn. Does she ever sit and think that no body owes her anything?. I like that ending. Its open ended. But in my opinion she' ll live forever in regret. She only has beauty and isn't good at heart like Jameela. Fakhar deserves better.

@@user-sj1 I’m glad I wasn’t the only one feeling this way. Like I liked the concept but so much of it was unbelievable. Especially the points you made about Qandeel who basically knew everything at the end but wasn’t saying anything to rectify the situation when she clearly felt for Fakhar but couldn’t speak up for his truth. Also Fakhar bought one piece of land at an auction and suddenly was the Don of the whole place with security and everything 😂 Also didn’t understand one scene where Fakhar moves away from Abdullahpur for the rhe first time and gulbano hides in his house. When she is running away he is calling her - but suddenly his own house door gets locked and he can’t get out?? That wasn’t explained lol. Also he is calling after her to say what? Because the next time he meets her, he doesn’t try to say anything to her so suddenly he has changed completely and isn’t trying to speak the truth to her anymore. I found Gulbano so jarring in this, as well. She was just a not very nice friend at all. And eventually the girl who was her best friend and was everywhere with her just disappeared off and gulbano couldn’t care less. It shows what kind of a person she is. She isn’t happy for her friend finding love either whereas her friend was always there for her during her love stages. Also Kashif was extremely jarring too. Could go on and on about the flaws in this drama. But I felt like it kinda was saying how love is kinda subjective. Someone might think they really love someone, due to something - for gulbano I assume she ‘loved’ devdas for his poetry, and for helping her with an umbrella and getting beaten up for her one time? I can’t think what else he really did. Anyways but when she is told Kashif is devdas she says she loves him to death basically. For no reason at all because she only met him once and heard him read out someone else’s poetry (quite badly also I must say). So it’s funny that Fakhar reveals he is devdas at the end because she is kinda left thinking “oops I’ve been dying over the wrong guy” which would make the whole idea of her love kinda silly. She loved superficially without seeing any redeeming qualities in Kashif. Fakhar who did all this, much like many good guys in the world will just move on, knowing he did a lot of good for someone who didn’t appreciate it, and he will find someone better one day who does appreciate him. It’s kind of a reflection on life in that respect so I like that aspect.

The story started from fakher giving gulbano his umbrella on the rainy day, then gulbano sends him letter to come an take his umbrella back(wishing to meet him) but misunderstood him as murderer of badar bakht and it ended on fakher asking her to return back his umbrella giving her a hint that he is her real devdas whom she wanted to return umbrella. It also means that he is asking gulbano love, despite losing her. gulbano deserves kashif as she is very rude and stubborn, she is. Going to suffer a lot knowing that she lost her devdas. What a poetic end! ... The umbrella brought everything back to the circle from where the story started... In the end, Fakher asks the Fakir to bless him with GulBano's love but Fakir has a condition - Are you ready to lose her and he says yes, because true love, just needs one in back!!....cut to last scene when he tells her about his identity after proving his love for her by giving her Kashif, gives him credibility!... And now she would realize that the one who truly loved her and crossed mountains and oceans to give her that love, was actually Fakher!... and thats when she realizes that she always loved him but it was misdirected towards Kashif!... Her tears in the rain were beautifully shot and differentiated with her eyeliner melting in her tears! ....Fakir's blessing came out to be true!...Devdas has found her love but lost her... Fakhar has gone back to his old streets and old life bcoz he didnt need that new life anymore, the one he created, only for gulbano! His cricket, him working on the decorations with his old people, lightening, flowers.. so on... The last episode is how great shows are written - minimum lines, maximum impact... If there is a S2, Gulbano & Fakher uniting will not make sense since that will break Fakir's blessing... and giving him another lover will dilute his love and his blessings from Fakir... This is a great end and letting it remain silent is the best ode to Devdas's love!....Bilal was just amazing!...

in my opinion , it was all kashif's fault as knew that gulbano has mistaken him for devdas and he also knew that fakhir loves gulbano and yet he ran away from this situation making both of them suffer . he should have told the truth when he realized that gulbano is the one whom fakhir loves . and obv gulbano was not going to belive anyone else saying that kashif is not the real devdas unless kashif said this himself . so gubano was being loyal to kashif whie kashif ran away not giving anyone any explanation . thats the main reason she was ignoring fakhir as she also misunderstood him for beedars killer . Kahif was the one who could have fixed it all just by arranging a meeutp between the two just the way fakhir did . the one to blame the most is KASHIF as he was able to do everything yet he ran away . but yes it was def worth the watch . hoping theres a season two where everyone is happy :)

Gonna badly miss the performance of Bilal as Devdas... He just nailed the character... What a performance!!! He never missed even a bit of expression throughout the drama... The more I am watching him the more I am getting interested in and attached to his acting... He is such a fine actor... May Allah grant him all the success he deserves... ❤ Talking about the drama - this girl Gulbanu doesn't deserve Fakhar and likewise Fakhar doesn't deserve a selfish, brainless girl like her... Even that selfish guy Kashi doesn't deserve a friend like Fakhar... It's strange how everyone in this drama knew who the real Devdas was except Gulbanu until the end! Though the ending doesn't seem perfect to me, it's fair I guess.... A scene of Gulbanu regretting after knowing the truth would have been peaceful for us... Actually, Devdas is destined to lose his Paru... If he doesn't then it's not a story of Devdas... and that's what happened here... They indirectly introduced a character like Qandeel whom Fakhar might be interested in which again holds the flavor of Devdas... However, as the heroine of Devdas this character should have been stronger so that she could be compared with Gulbanu... If anyone deserves Fakhar in this drama it should be Jamila as she honestly admired him from the beginning.... I think this character was even stronger than Qandeel... However, the essence of Devdas remains intact... If there is an extension of this story then I don't think it could serve the purpose of the name of this drama 'Devdas'...

This is what I wanted to write... whatever you've written is so true👌 People who are asking for 2nd part needs to understand there's nothing left to be shown now... it would have been better if they showed gulbano regretting or suffering after knowing the truth...that could have given us a sense of relief!!

With covered precisely all what ever thoughts I have had. Even I earlier episode I commented about Jamila deserve true love, meanwhile been honest the ending was somehow not favouring viewers. In whole drama I didn't like the childish behaviour of Gulbanu and atleast in Ending Kashif should have once told Gulbanu he is not his Devdas, I was expected there will be ending of Qandeel with Kashif, as in Uni this character was brought close to Kashif , and Gulbanu with her real Devdas. Even she didn't came to know that the murder of Bakhtbeedar , and the story of how Devdas managed to reach on her letter and got trapped. These events should be regret for Selfish Gulbanu

Finally, Fakhar got his birthday gift by gulbano when he left a long lasting impression on gulbano's memory till her last breath 😊 I hope now she realised that who is the real Abdullah pur ka devdas.Now fakhar has released from the title of devdas now gulbano has become a "devdasan"😊
