Bagged custom nissan maxima drive by

My boys custom built 02 6spd maxima with a couple of bolt ons, an air ride system, brembos front and rear and a couple of other things. It's sitting on 370z nismo wheels. This thing is just gorgeous and is alot of fun to drive!

You know plus a cold air haha man I miss that car. Hydrolocked it in a flash flood and sold it and bought another one but not as pretty but way less miles. 😂 anyways VQ all day great engine.

I always wanted a 6 speed max since they came out. It's been 14 years since they came out and i am still looking for one. They are rare and hard to get,auto and manual. I see as soon as they get traded in they go right back out. Lot's of people like these and they want them. These manuals have a lot of mileage on them. Find a low mileage will be like finding a needle in a hay stack. Gonna plan to get one.

Awesome man! And yeah these are stout cars. Only thing you have to look for in these are the timing chain guides go out, power steering pumps fail, and rear quarter rust starts forming if you are in an area that lays salt down on the roads. Other than that these cars are so underrated

It is a labor intensive job. They tend to go bad on higher mileage motors. Just stay on top of your oil changes and you should be good for a long time. I've seen them go bad due to people not properly maintaining them and letting them run low on oil. With your miles you should be good.

Hello sir, so at the time (7-8 years ago) he got the brackets custom made. The brembos we're off a jeep SRT8 because they are massive. But any brembos would most likely work, ctsv or Camaro SS calipers are pretty cheap on eBay. Good luck. Sorry if it wasn't too helpful

Nice my guy! And at the time it was a resonator delete. Now his new set up is cattman headers and a cattman exhaust which have been discontinued for many years. He got them from someone who was parting out their car. You can hear the new exhaust setup on the part 2 video that I have of this maxima

They are the oem gunmetal color that comes on the wheels. They either come in hyper silver or gunmetal which the ones in this video are gunmetal

He cut them to fit perfect for his beefier tire set up. You can fit them but you would need to pull the fenders. It was cut in this video because the Maxima was going in for a custom widebody which was done in the part 2 video that is posted on my channel

It has brembo brakes, the front and rear brackets can be bought from the owner who goes by @mr_0129 on instagram. The wheels are nismo wheels. You can contact him and hopefully if he replies he can give you a run down of his build

i dont know if you will see this in time but im going to check out a maxima 02 se 6spd but the guy said it stutters when accelerating and changed the spark plugs and coils and its still doing that, do you have an idea of what it could be? he also said it started happening after installing the stock air intake and exhaust

Hmmmmmmm well first off bring an Obd scanner to scan the codes. If you don't have one. Have him meet up with you at an AutoZone. They scan the car for free and give you some suspecting issues of what it could be. As for the issue it could be MAF. Please check if it is a P0300. If it is that means it's a multiple misfire......and for Nissans that multiple misfire code is the worst on them cause it can be simple or it can be terrible (blown engine)

Let me know the details when you do go take a look at it please. It sounds like a MAF but then again if it was as simple as that the owner would have replaced that first before doing plugs and coils. But still double check haha

What year is your car? Cause on this 02 there is a fog light function on the headlight stalk itself. If you twist the fog light portion it would turn on. It had the same feature as my 02 and 03 Altima

If you don't have that, you could always wire your fog lights to the parking lights (the orange turn signal lights that turn on before you turn on the headlights fully)

No, they will rub like crazy. You will have to roll and possibly pull fenders for it to work. The wheels are wide

@@pampidonmusic2666 yessir at the time of this video it was a muffler delete. Now the car had discontinued cattman headers and a full cattman catback exhaust which is in the updated video
