Hi Marina, I can’t begin to tell you how helpful your videos on Abeka Homeschool have been to us. I just enrolled my daughter into 1st grade Abeka and we are doing the video streaming accredited version. Your videos have been so helpful! I have a question... is is necessary to rip out the pages for the student to fill out or can i give the book and have her fill out and then move on to the next page for the next lesson?

Thank you for your videos on Abeka! Can you please tell me if the "seatwork" is mandatory for the accredited program? Also, are only the tests and quizes required to send in in grades 1-4? I am a mother of 8 and I am needing something that helps meet the needs of our family at this time, so no one falls through the cracks. Would it be too overwhelming, in your opinion, to have 6 students in the accredited program, or do you recommend the unaccredited program? Also, It would be great to see more Abeka videos, you do such a wonderful job! Thank you!

My kids do just fine with videos...my youngest had a little trouble in the beginning but we stuck with it and now he does well too.

We're in Canada, and I just ordered the entirety for my 1st and 3rd graders. Will they be sending a Canadian version?

There is no Canadian version. You will get an America focused version with the pledge and all and will need to skip the pledge and do your own history, probably.

@@LADHP Finding packaged curricula (especially for all subjects) when you aren't in the US is a struggle. Been there, done that (although not with Abeka). Good thing you were able to cancel.

referring to the Primary Bible Reader - does the Bible Memory Verses for the Books of the New Testament come in card form like the ABC verses did in K? we punched a hole in them & put on a ring and he loved holding them in his hand and practiced learning them this way

If you choose accredited. I know you have to send in papers I think 6 times a school year. What happens if you don't send it on the date you are supposed to?

they send you reminders and i think they give you like extra 30 days before they charge you a late fee of $20

Each video lesson varies in length, Bible is usually 25-30 min each day but the others vary. Sometimes phonics is 20 min other times it’s 10.

Lauren Everything I showed comes in that price...no need for extras unless you’d like it.

They currently give way more options. You can buy the whole curriculum or you can buy only the subjects you need. A lot of people complain there are too many books with Abeka but it’s because they want to be able to send you either the whole curriculum or just the 1 subject. It’s the most thorough curriculum I’ve seen and they are usually 1 grade up. We loved K5 and will begin 1st soon!
