Got one of these as a gift for christmas 2019. Took me a while to use it as I was a bit skeptical. Needless to say, it's replaced my basket infuser and I haven't touched my teapot since since it can make close to two cups at once. I love it. I do wish it was not plastic, but nothing is perfect.

This is supposed to be a "how to" video, but at 2:58, she grabs the handle & places the Aberdeen on the mug, but she never explained *HOW* she was able to make the tea release from the bottom of the Aberdeen... ...which I think is a pretty important feature in the "how to" part of using the product that is being demonstrated in a "how to" video, rt? 😉😉😉

@@michelemckune3809 as soon as you place the tea maker on the mug, it releases the tea automatically (it pushes up on a released ring mechanism to do that) ! You dont have to do anything else. As soon as you lift it off the mug, it will stop releasing the tea. Easy- peasy!

Lia, as soon as you place the tea maker on the mug, it releases the tea automatically - you dont have to do anything except for putting it on the mug. When you lift it off the mug, the pouring stops! Its automatic! Hope that answers your question!
