Fantastic tour again, Alessa. I immediately thought of the red wedding in GoT when you said the massacre occurred on a special occasion. George R. R. Martin just changed the type of occasion. The shop in the museum was great, I love this type of modern history. The Anderson Shelter too. I remember those still being in people's gardens back in the 1980s when I walked to my grand parents house. No doubt they were also doing service as garden sheds.

Interesting how the castle was rebuilt in stone and that is the remains that we see today. It still looks very formidable today. All of these castles have such rich and interesting histories, as this one is with the story from 1175! Wow. Loved seeing the museum there and it is nice that everything is free. Your drone shots are spectacular as always! 😊👍

1175, I'm just imagining a Christmas for those back then. What a tragic event for so many. This one has quite a history. The ruins are beautiful and are in such nice shape for their age. The museum is so nice, with the displays and relics. I enjoyed this one, Pinned. Lovely footage from above, as always 😊

What a place! But Gee Whiz that 1175 Christmas was tragic! Cruel William! Great stories and history! The free museum looks great! This must be the most violent and re modelled castle out there! Another great one guys 👍❤️
