I had curling of my toe nails, I scrapped all around the mail where the skin was over growing on the side walls. I was able to get all the dead skin in & around the nail. Mind you it took a week to clean up all nails. Now they lay flat on the mail bed instead of growing to a point & pointing up. Great job & a must on people that can’t go to a salon or have knowledge of how to do. Thank you for Sharing

I would not let them touch it if they tried though. Some have no problem damaging perfect nails. My only manicure ever, I was a teenager, she cut into all the corners of my nails ruining the lovely long shape and making them grow out wide. After many years and learning from amazing channels like abetweene I am taking care of my own nails and my sons and hubby and reversing these kinds of damages in our nails.

First of all, the Doctor did a great job removing the ingrown nail. I would like to know how long does it hurt, after having the nail removed? I had an ingrown toe nail back in the seventies and after the Doctor cutting it out, it hurt bad for tree days, The pain was awful, and nothing strong enough to kill the pain!

this wasnt painful for him, but yours sound more severe so id advise seeing a podiatrist so they can numb you first.

if you keep the nail straight instead of filing it curved ingrowns are less likely to reoccur

the nail grows from the proximal fold downward, so curving the free edge actually creates space between the nail and his skin, preventing it from penetrating the corner of his toe. You can see after I remove the ingrown where the nail left an imprint. This buys him some “time” before the new growth reaches that area again, but ultimately the c-curve of his natural nail is always growing into the side walls. Its just the manner in which the nail grows for individuals who get ingrowns. The only thing that’ll eliminate that portion of the nail from growing is an acid treatment from a physician.

I prefer the curved edge, with the straight edge my toenails tend to crack in the corners and straight across the nail-bed; not so with the curved edge.

I have never had a nail treatment so embarrassed. I real would like to try to go get a pedicure just to afraid and embarrassed. My toe bait are the worst yellow and all . Nails are the worst I think 💭 and like you said in the video any yellowing under the nails must smell bad even id you don’t think so . Like mine for sure . Would I be made fun of when walking in for the first time to get a pedicure the reason why I say this it’s cause I’m very insecure don’t think I would go or even go back if I’m made fun of for my very ugly toenails . Would you even recommend someone like me to go get a pedicure? Thanks for your videos I wish I can do it myself cause my wifey is so disgusted with my feet 🦶 but she’s ok with everything else. try seeing a podiatrist if you can. perhaps your concerns are easily treatable and it would help you to feel more confident about your feet. I know pple can be not very nice at times, but youd surprised how little pple actually care or even notice the things that bother us because we’re very critical of ourselves.
