Great guide! I'd love to see a guide for the absolute beginner to feral. Explaining each ability in detail, when to use them and how they affect each other and stuff like energy management. Imagine you're explaining to a first time Druid player. I know a lot of that was covered here but I think a really beginner friendly one would be great too :)

here are some useful addons: -dotfocus(dottracker) -nugComboBar(combopoint tracker) -weakauras(buff tracking and stuff) -bartender(to move bars and make em bigger/smaller) -dbm/bigwigs(Bossdtimers!) -statweightscore(to import pawnstrings after u sim ur character and compare items ingame, upgrade or not?) -Simcraft(so u can do /simc to copy/paste for raidbots)

thanks! I've found it to pretty decent in m+ and surprisingly strong in some raid encounters. It's a lot of fun finding all the things in an encounter I can reset tigers fury with, its definitely a spec that requires practice and dedication. Overall very fun spec and i get to be a kitty!! :3

I didnt surely find anything which says it just afflicts 1 target or more, but the words are: ''Ashamane's Frenzy also increases the damage your Feral abilities deal to afflicted targets by 30%.'' so it says targetS, but u can put this on only 1....so either blizz made a mistake by using words(not the first time with interpretation....) or it really works on more targets

I had gotten the original Abeythu profile almost a year ago, and yours is the only one Ive been using! I reinstalled it from the documents you have linked in this video, assuming it would have the moonfire but it doesnt! Ive created a simple WA to sit on the end of the dotfocus profile for now :)

In regards to stat weights, to me, you made it sound like yours would differ from another person's feral druid. What makes them different? Isnt feral across the border the same in the end? Or maybe I'm not understanding the true meaning of stat weights.

Redscyte well I have different sets for different Situation. Some ferals even play ae with haste gear for more brutal slashs overall, cuz they recharge faster. I play with mastery set in ae, and full versa/crit on st :)

Redscyte well the thing is, it depends on itlvl,how much stats of each u already have(not %, real numbers) and all that stuff. So I can tell u, I got mastery on ae and crit /versa on st, what ur exact string really is depends on all ir items, so the best way to figure it out whats Best weights for your Char, depending on your gear, is to simulate with raidbots in different Situations (eg 1 bosstarget 3min fight, 10 targets 20 secs fight etc)

well normally I just delay my weapon for like 10 secs if tf isnt up and not delay tf. I just try to use TF on CD everytime . if u have only 2-3secs till your weapon is ready , your TF will be still up when u use your weapon, especially when u play st with the helmet :) so I´d rather delay the weapon for a few secs than delay tf for like 15 secs or more

Servus, habe mit dem feral 7.2 angefangen. Seit 3Wochen wieder am spielen & M7/10 down, aber, meine Stat Verteilung hat sich kaum verändert. Ich geh immer noch steil, wenn ich Mast/Crit sehe und dementsprechend sind meine Stats auch noch Mast > Crit > Haste/Vers & von Bloodtalons komme ich auch nicht weg. Letztens meinte auch wer zu mir, meine Talentwahl wäre "unspielbar".. (bezogen auf Savage Roar/Bloodtalons) Irgendwo seh ich den Sinn nicht, Bloodtalons vom Feral derartig abzuschwächen. Wirkt auf mich so, als wolle man den Feral zugänglicher machen wollen mit Omen/Brutal Slash. Wie siehst du das?

Ultimate also es ist tatsächlich so, dass der feral mit 7.3 so überarbeitet wurde, dass die bleeds und buffs bei nich korrekter spielweise keinen völligen dps Einbruch verursachen, er wurde massiv vereinfacht und daher is moment of clarity doe Wahl anstelle der bloodtalons. Der Grund is z.B. Im burst: beim pull mit bloodtalons aktivierst du diese nichmal sondern ziehst einfach mit incarnation und shred und bite durch, weil ben global cooldown brauch. Moment of clarity is einfach nen passiv und du verlierst dadurch keine dps. Die statweights sind natürlich für moment of clarity ausgelegt, wie die bei mir mit bloodtalons aussehen kann ich nich sagen :)

Danke für die Antwort! Beim Pull starte ich eben mit Rake/Shred/SavageRoar über zu Inc. Mir gefällt die Rotation mit Bloodtalons und vllt. wird das ja in 7.3 oder später nochmal angepasst. Wenn Omen aber derzeit so gut reinpasst, wird es sicher Mal ausprobiert. +1 für den Guide!

sure: u open like this: stealth/prepot/rake(1cp/2cp)/savage roar/inkarn+tigersfury+artefact weapon/shred/rip(5cp)/moonfire or shred/shred/shred/bite/shred/shred/shred/bite......and so on, refresh the next savage roar with 5 cp :)

Love snacking on your videos from time to time, it has to be said though, with LI and BS competing, LI starts overtaking BS fairly quickly when you get more and more ilvl, especially if your haste is high, and switching heavily depriorotizes mastery and places Crit, haste and vers all within 1 point of damage from eachother, with agi being about 5 or so points behind, then mastery anything from 10-13 points behind. TL:DR - if you pick up LI, haste is gonna get valued higher and mastery becomes shit tier.

Yeah, if feral were given innervate + a AOE CC like solar beam, we might actually be competitive. The only realm we win out in right now is burst AOE and ST. But anything above 23 ferals are just kinda ignored. Blizzard really have to do a better job making a somewhat hardcore spec viable for somewhat hardcore content.

y so true, I have huge probs to get into high key groups as feral...cuz boomkins have much more ae dps and arent bad on st aswell so....that sucks...and ferals dont have anything useful except roar :/

I manage to get into 22's and 23's fairly easily on the weeks they're doable, but then again, my score is good and I parse usually within the top 10 of ferals worldwide... Esentially you have to be excellent to perform average, if that makes sense. I do think feral's ST dps combo'd with their good AOE burst and movement holds some importance on certain weeks. And our utility is a bit more once you get deeper into it. Shadowmeld, Incarnation invis, SI + Bearform, decent passive self healing do make us stand out from some of the more "dps heavy" specs like WW and Survival. But even then WW outperforms us in dps and offers up an AOE stun and some CC for the group. Boomkin is clearly stronger, but you do see them lacking on burst ST and shorter AOE fights. And our ST is pretty top tier if done right.
