This is a fantastic idea! Your eye swatches are a great of seeing the shadows in action. But you have demonstrated how just using a wash of color works...I have hooded eyes and the way you show them looks great and wearable and easy to just get out the door. Definitely getting this when it gets to Ulta..bday month extra points!

Aw for real? My favorites were the shimmer pink and shimmer purple! I literally bought this pallet for those 2 colors! But hey different strokes for different folks! Mine were all uuuuuber creamy! Literally, I don't think I could ever imagine a prettier pallet! And even if you don't usually use a pink like that, you could use a tiny bit in the center of the lid of a halo eye or in the inner corner! SO PRETTY!

We as consumers need to grow a pair and stop making excuses for inferior formulas. I cannot tell you how many times I have seen reviews , or even comments from actual people who purchased the stuff, that "oh well it's so powdery it falls all over the place but that's okay", or "you have to wet the Shimmer for them to show up but that's okay", or "this Foundation oxidizes Three Shades Darker but that's okay"...no it's not !!!! it's called a broken formula and as long as we continue to pay 50 or $60 a pop for formulas that are broken they're going to keep selling them to us, and it's going to get worse and not better. what really Burns me is when I see someone tear apart one-brand for the same exact issue and then give another brand a pass... especially when they're being more critical of the cheap stuff than they are the expensive stuff . there is no excuse whatsoever for these high-end Brands to be selling us crap.

You are exaggerating :) Some colors are really hard to make. I have no objections with too powdery shadows or fallout, or using wet brush, or using a finger to put a shadow. Although I hate shadows with no pigmentation whatsoever or shadows hard to blend. And I don’t buy this type of shadows. If you want, you can do whatever shadow you want , you just need to buy ingredients in the Internet. It will cost you maybe 5$ :) You can go and check shadow’s pigmentation and if you like it, you can buy it. Nobody is forcing you to spend any money on makeup you don’t like.

The point of wetting a brush with shimmers is to gain two looks. A dry brush is for a subtle look and a wet is for a pop of it. Its not a broken formula, ita a versatile one.

I never followed the ABH or "gotta have every new palette asap" palette hype, but I absolutely love purple eyeshadows. I have brown/greenish eyes and the right purples and golds make my eyes very vivid. This palette is gorgeous and the review is awesome
