IDK Mel obviously has exceptional makeup skills and obviously lighting helps but this is a really subpar palette given the hype. I don't think Anastasia would make so much profit if she didn't use influencers and if things were based on quality alone.

My Modern Renaissance has a decent amount of kick up, so does my Soft Glam, and yes my Norvina palette does as well. But I don’t dig in my palette, I just dab the brush in and build up the pigment on my eye. I have zero problems with any of my ABH palettes, they all look new even though they’re the ONLY palettes I use. I’d rather have a palette where I just need a little bit of product to do a look, than one I have to swirl my brush around a ton, because the palette lasts way longer!! If I’m ever doing a dark look, I do my eyes first, but for the most part I do my my face makeup first, and I don’t have to worry about fall out. Everyone has different preferences, but if you like Modern Renaissance, you should have no complaints about the Norvina palette.

Thank you for doing this! A lot of YTers are slamming this palette, but I get the sense that they’re doing it for views. I wore a very wearable, but visible and fun, look and these shadows did NOT budge. There was no fallout, there was no fading into a bruise-y mess, nothing. I do not do a lot of dramatic looks AT ALL and I love this palette. I ordered it based on your comments, and I’m glad I did!
