Norvina fixed them. She said the previous shadows were soft pressed for maximum pigmentation but since everyone was complaining about the fallout she was going to press the new batch a little harder hence the decrease in fallout.

I think eyeshadow tutorials should be done that close. Samantha Ravahndal does it and I love how I can see all the details. There are others that go that close, but I can't think of their names for some reason. I picked up my palette yesterday and I love it. I have seen some bigger beauty youtubers just dog this palette and pretty much destroy their palette digging their brushes in. It just pissed me off. Yes, the palette is different, but it's not that difficult AT ALL to figure out how to work with them. I've created some amazing looks so far with mine. Pretty much all I've done today is play with eyeshadow. I don't understand these people that swirl their brushes like they did when I've never seen them swirl their brushes like that before. It's like the hip thing to hate this palette. I love mine and I loved your look! New subbie here because I appreciate you actually trying with this palette and making it work.

Yes I think they should be done up close too it's just most of the time I zoom in super close my camera makes a continuous beeping sound, so that's why I don't usually do it up close, but I do want to start doing them closer because I feel like you can see how the eyeshadow's work better and as you said it's more detailed, so I'll deffs be trying it in my next vid! ❤️ Yes I feel like if you know your palette is powdery, then you should be more cautious with it rather than swirling your brush in it, and yess I agree how you said "it's like the hip thing to hate this palette" because I feel like people have a negative view and perception towards it and are going into it negatively with other people's opinions in mind. I do get though that some peoples' don't work as well as there is probably an inconsistency in the batches but I feel like people aren't really giving it a chance. I love this palette and cannot wait to use it more, the colours are so pretty! Hopefully the other shades work just as well, but I am so looking forward to using them! I really like the way this tutorial was filmed. Zooming in occasionally as you did was very helpful to see how everything applied and blended together, but I also liked the overall view to see the hand motions and techniques you used. Beautiful look💕

Its working for you because you tap and you dont swirl your brush around like some people thats when it gets powdery you just need to be careful!

I have some shadows from Shiro Cosmetics that I've actually made this same look with, hahah. But it's nice to see another take on this palette where someone made it work. I might pick it up, but I'm having a hard time justifying it since I have a lot of shades similar to the ones in this palette already. I feel like the way these have to be used is probably similar to using loose pigments, which is what I use most of the time anyway, so I could probably make it work. I think it would have been nice if they gave a heads up though that the shadows needed to be used in a different way, since most people aren't going to think about having to use a palette differently than other palettes they own.

My trick to the abh palette is use a synthetic blending brush a natural hair brush is a lot rougher as you can see in the beginning when she used a synthetic brush blending brush less fall out

There has to be an inconsistency with these because mine just doesn't want to stay on no matter what I do! I FINALLY got it to work for me and made a gorgeous look just for setting spray to destroy it which is very odd 😕 If I don't use any setting spray it usually stays on a few hours but eventually ends up looking a mess. I've never had that happen with any eyeshadow and I have palettes from a lot of brands and I always use primer. I'm going to try exchanging it at another sephora and hopefully I'll get one that works for me because these colors are gorgeous!

Honestly I find the ABH palettes to have kick back. The singles seem to be pressed better and not kick back as much. I purchased this palette and honestly light tapping and building up to desired intensity works for me. This is a workable palette that can produce great results.

I used either the Too Faced Born This Way concealer in very fair or the Tarte Shape Tape in the shade Fair, I don’t remember which one it was but I definitely recommend using a light shade of concealer or primer! ❤️

There MUST be an inconsistency in this pallet, because I got one, and it was so fuuuuucked. And not that I'd normally swirl my brush into it, but when you see just how powdery it is, it felt necessary to swirl my brush, before I even saw anyone's videos. I tried using it and it turned different colors on my eyes, using the red I the crease after using the "yellow" as a transition turned it gray when they mixed. THEN I bought a different subculture pallet like 2 weeks later, and it wasn't powdery, it wasn't inconsistent, and worked just fine. I don't understand.
