It can tell you it is 100% corrupt. I already worked in courts and swore never to work again in any branch of judiciary. Resigned for govt job without having any future prospects it was that bad of an environment. These judges run the show purely like a colonial era. You're not even worth dirt of their shoes. Reimbursement they are given is through the roof half of the budget of employee emoluments is spend on their reimbursements alone.

Best part is NO ACCOUNTABILITY. IMPEACHMENT near impossible. And they won't allow COLLEGIAN SYSTEM to be changed. Once one becomes JUSTICE , he becomes like God, can do no wrong, can order anything. India has about 25000 judges in Supreme Court, high court and district courts. That mean 1 judge for every 56000 people. Even if you consider only high and Supreme Court, that’s 1200 judges, or 1 per 1.2 million. I guess you should recheck your numbers, but the point that we have too few judges is taken

Judiciary in India is a joke. It takes three births to get a judgement in a court of law. Like all areas of society, judges are appointed by other judges and its family, friends and relatives cabal Until merit is the criteria for selection of judges and the process is transparent, nothing is going to change in India. If the justice system does not change in the foreseeable future, the respect for judiciary which is very low will be evaporate and judiciary may face a Srilankan moment

Based on the speaker's claim of India having 1 judge only for every 21 million people, it works out to 62 judges totally in the country. The fact is Madras High Court alone has 75 judges!

Instead of imitating the Western model of a huge centralised judiciary we should go in the opposite direction, by empowering local communities to solve the problems by involving the wisest people among them. That was the principle of India's panchayats for thousands of years. They degraded in recent centuries but their Truth can be revived in new forms for the future.

In India: Judge per million population is 21.03 and not 1 judge per million population. In US, the judge to population ratio is roughly 150. Kindly verify your facts.

It won't be implemented properly and every group will try to take advantage of it. It will work in mostly highly homogeneous white countries or states.

our engineers are not skillfull thats the truth and many times i have come across such studies or polls ...and even statements cant vouch for 97% bcz plenty of studies are conducted on a regular basis ...but the impoartant thing is the message and 97% stat points to the essence of the problem ...alos ...many companies hr managers or ceo speak the same stuff ...most of the country engineers are just manual labour which is easily replacable ...if not today then in future with either recession or automation...also we dont create engineers ...its labour which wants to do mba upsc bank and other govt jobs ... i think thats enough to prove the saddening state of affairs ...so most of the graduating engineers are not even real engineers ..lol

Solving Leetcode problems and clearing JEE and going to IIT are not problem solving. India doesn't have a product like Microsoft or SAP or Nintendo for all the IT prowess we boast. New products are emerging but smaller countries have done much better in building good products.

U can't build Microsoft in a country where 90% population earn less than $5 a day. U need to have demand. Economic is all about demand and supply. Microsoft like company can't be produced out of India for the same reason that the highest selling car model in India is Maruti and not Fortuner Or XUV. There is no demand in India to force any one to make products like Microsoft. Demand is entirely missing from India.

Abhijit has confidence but not facts, he is right to some account general overarching principle but he is wrong. . He says 97% engineers are incapable of problem solving, what nonsense. Literally anyone who has cleared JEE has good command in problem solving, thats literally what they are good at nothing else. Maybe tier 3 and below colleges are incapable but that also is not expected of them to problem solve at high level. They go for higher studies in NIT and IIT, not to forget skill certification from time to time. 97% is plain wrong. It should be 25% at max.

That is simply not true. I agree to a certain degree that most people who have cleared JEE are capable of problem solving but the point is that most engineers that are currently enrolled in courses simply have not cleared the paper. Out of the almost 1.5 million engineers produced in India, Barely 41K have cleared the exam. Most engineers do come from 3rd Tier Colleges lol

The one who enter IIT through JEE, knows that we are not trained to solve problems but answer expected questions in an expected in class trained way. Rarely if ever we were exposed to any engineering issues dealing with the problems society was facing. Most of the training was rot memorization and reproduction at the exam time.

As I said Tier 3 engineers are not expected to problem solve at that level of IITian, that doesn't mean they are not useful. And at later point of time they upgrade their skills I have seen. Similarly whosoever studies law need not be 100% good. Judges will be top 10% rest will be lawyers and what not. in engineering field that is definetely the case.
