Well if it's a relief...than he is wrong on many things....also the 'lack of human infra' that he says is BS really.... It's based on an yrs. old survey by a random magazine saying 97% indian engineers cant solve problems.... I mean like seriously? IITs,NITs,BITs alone make around 8-10% of indian engg. workforce...even beside them millions of Indian engineers working in MNCs dnt work on BPO jobs...they do the problem solving for salries. That 'Indian engg. are unskilled' was a rant started by some Indian companies to justify the salaries that they have kept stagnant for 10 yrs. ...also govt. gets an excuse for question of 'why arent there enough engg. jobs in country'. Indian policy makers and regulatory mechanism are trash cos they mainly are beauracrats with no specialistaion in that field....but it aint as if we lack the technical expertise....i mean India has done a lot of engineering projects which many developed and '1st world' countries have failed to do so. I am a huge fan of AIM,have learnt a lot by listening to him..... problem is once he gets an idea in his mind...he sticks to it despite evidence pointing otherwise.

Problem solving requires thinking. Schools, colleges and universities teach information, not how to make use of it to solve problems. Direct teaching of thinking isn't taught. Whatever thinking skills we have we pick up by the by. Thinking is required to rearrange , modify, challenge, apply existing information and to even create new information. College level problem solving involves figuring out how the GIVEN pieces of jigsaw puzzle (information) fit together. Field problems involve recognizing what pieces are missing, figuring out where and how to find them and monitoring what works and what doesn't and then finally making it all work well.

What's happening in property market is Most of the property is overpriced since there is lot of black money being parked So there are people who cannot afford flat because there is a lot of black money flowing on to inflate the price and affordable housing is not made because there is more margin in expensive properties and can also be sold. So there are people with 10 houses that are kept for investment and there are so many people without them who are living on rent in those houses at best. The government doesn't want to crack down on it because 1. It will take a lot of government Machinery which they don't have also the will which they don't have to deal with most of the enemies and their own. Also it will have to be a tight whip on the economy like demonetization which they are to scared to even dream. Remember black economy is still economy and it's still counts when you don't have enough positive forces to steer.

If everything is technology demonstrator and then we move on to other technology demonstrators, when are we able to do anything worth something. This is what happens when governments just want to do what is perceived as good via propaganda. About Indian software engineers, you can so often tell if a big business has saved money by using some sasta Indian company to design its online app/website. There will always be issues with the user experience, some things not working, some simple thing like entering date of birth being extra chore or some thing like that. They always cut corners or do things in a way that is super outdated or do things in a wierd way. They are getting business from these big multi national companies, so those guys are definitely among the better ones but they're still so bad!

15.50 Sri ji I request you to pls do a thorough review of Star Health. We had a policy for my in laws and we have paid hefty sums for 2 years without claiming a paisa. But when it came to claiming it, they have been rejecting the claim just because the doc put a question mark on 2018. Doctor and hospital have given multiple explanations saying he was just enquiring about previous years which is a normal procedure they kept rejecting it and don't bother calling us and when we call they ask us to write to them and then nothing.

AIM is incorrect on subprime crisis, it not necessarily that if this plumber can pay but rather if the plumber had a bad credit history. The loans were then securitized and sold as AAA bonds. I think the biggest favor that Indians can do is to know, accept and claim that we are a developing country in some things, underdeveloped in many things and probably fairly advanced in a very few things. Acceptance is a very important thing for change, if we believe ourselves as great, then there is nothing left to achieve. We cannot go from complete inferiority complex to inflated thought about ourselves. Stop comparing with Pakistan and start comparing with USA, UK or Germany or even China and we will know where we really stand. This jingoistic and self aggrandizing attitude is taking think positive too far.

@@kushjindal2939 That is the whole point, compare yourself with people you do not have auqat for, then you really know your auqat and you can try to put remedial actions and hope to achieve something due to that knowledge and the vision of reality you get. India is an under developed country in lots of ways and if we try (without the current blow your own trumpet, but all false) hard, maybe next 40-50 years will be needed to be even respectable. I think if we are diligent and prudent, we can catch up with the world in next 100-120 years.

@@kushjindal2939 I have with my own eyes have seen unbelievable high quality transformations, so I do not say it is impossible, it would say in our case it surely is improbable. That is why I am talking about changes in terms of decades, because without quality education system, we cannot even begin to do this, our raw materials (humans) are unfeasible for such changes. It takes about 15 to 20 years to see the output of a changed education system. If we revamp our education system now, introduce merit based movement and implement it in a phased way, it is possible to have a new workable high quality education system in 10 years and then 15-20 years for the output to be seen. So in 25 to 30 years we will have a viable population (at least a big chunk of it), that can propagate us further. We have to forget about our current and next few generations get the benefits, our only task is to work diligently for 4-5 generations ahead. However we can enjoy (at least top 40-60% population) an improved quality of life via gross GDP growth and better infrastructure. Leave the actual advanced country status to our future generations.

Comparing us with China and US is unfair. And we are definitely better than Pakistan. China just imposes it’s policy on people, we cannot do that. We have seen US crushing many countries in the name of war on terrorism or possessing weapons of mass destruction. I would say we improved a lot. I agree that we still need to improve better. Giving a false sense of achievement, when there are none. To counter that propaganda and show reality(which is the only hopeful way forward), there is a need for equally forceful opinion thrown out. Although AIM does bad mouth a lot, it is just his style and we can completely ignore it as it just shows his frustration at things. I would still take his opinion than lot of other Social Media promoters who talk jingoist nonsense which are miles away from the truth. I also like the kind of optimism that Nitin Gadkari shows, where he does not say we are in a good place, but shows something is being done to get to the good place. I would appreciate such attitude over things like India is the greatest country in the world or we are very advanced in science and technology or things like we are almost a developed nation. That is all false and I do not believe in the title greatest (since that is usually given to a country by their own politicians). I would rather have raw truth and aspirational confidence, then naked lies and delusional glorification, since that makes us blind and stops us from progressing correctly.

I remember AIM saying when winter comes russians will fight better and all.. Im like Ukraine was also part of soviet and they also fought in ww2 in winter.. they know how to fight too. AIM definitely has Russian bias which clouds his judgement when it comes to assessment and prediction on ongoing conflict. Making the lift for aircrafts a little wider to suit forthcoming new jets of Indian Airforce would have required negligible design change.
