It is like when we Indians and our kings used to ape Western culture as we thought of it as superior. Persian culture at that time was considered more refined. But mughals termed their dynasty as Timurid Gurkhani.

He keeps denying Mongols invasions in india but it happened both during the time of gengis Khan and after during the time of chagtai Khan and indians fought everytime against them first time it was by khwarazmians empire under Jalaluddin khwarazm he got defeated by gengis Khan then he escaped india after Indus war and attacked using soldiers from Punjab, sindh Pakistan those region and was successful in re capturing his territory till Georgia. Next it happened during the time of giyassudin balban and Jalaluddin and allauddin Khilji in which allauddin Khilji fought most of the wars. The inscription is given in jama masjid at Multan as giyassudin Tughlaq was present there as a commander. Next the mongol war continued during giyassudin Tughlaq time as well .

This is so true and I also became an atheist as result of our school system and despite being a displaced kshmiri hindu I had very secular mindset until Amarnath pathrav happened n my own M friends unfriended me and decided to be aggressive. Then I realized the lies in our books. It's always sati parda caste discrimination devdasi everything abhorrent and from the other side they only teach sufism and bhakti movement instead of the basic tenets of islam that is the incompatibility with infidels and murti poojaks. How that resulted in forced conversion and killings by multiple invaders and rulers. This was never taught.
