ഏതാണ്ട് 35 വർഷമായി ട്രെയിൻ യാത്ര ഞാൻ ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഒരിക്കലും റെയിൽവേ കേരളത്തിൽ നമ്മുടെ താല്പര്യം സംരക്ഷിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. SR യിൽ top ഒഫീഷ്യൽസ് എല്ലാം മറ്റു സംസ്ഥാന ക്കാർ ആയതിനാൽ കേരളത്തിന്റെ താല്പര്യം ഒരിക്കലും സംരക്ഷിച്ചു കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല.. എല്ലായിപ്പോഴും പഴയ റാക്കുകൾ ആണ് SR തിരുവനന്തപുരം DVN ൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്

നാണംകെട്ട എം പി മാരും നട്ടെല്ലില്ലാത്ത 'മുന്ത്രി' ( മന്ത്രിയല്ല! ) മാരും , ഇഷ്ടം പോലെ ഉണ്ടല്ലോ; ഇവന്മാർക്കൊന്നും കേരളത്തിനു നല്ല കോച്ചുകളും സൗകര്യങ്ങളും വേണമെന്ന് കട്ടായമായി ഡെൽഹിയിൽപോയി പറഞ്ഞു പിടിച്ചുവാങ്ങാൻ , ( ആനക്കാട്ടിൽ ഈപ്പച്ചൻ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ ) മുണ്ടു നനഞ്ഞുപോകുമായിരിക്കും! ആണെന്നു പറഞ്ഞു മീശവെച്ചുനടന്നാൽ മാത്രം പോരാ; തന്റേടവും ധൈര്യവും കൂടി വേണം; അത് എം പി യായാലും, 'മുന്ത്രി' യായാലും!
