A beautiful rendition of U2's "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" by American Idol finalist Abi Carter that I recorded while sipping on a frozen Mai Tai on the patio of Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar Palm Springs on Oct 23, 2022.
Abi used to play all over the Coachella Valley, particularly at our Thursday night Villagefest - Palm Springs.
I requested a U2 song from her and, after some thinking, she said this is the only one she knew, which gave me quite a chuckle... kids! 😂 She must have heard it in the "Sing 2" movie or something. Anyway, pretty amazing that she came up with this on the fly.
Well, I promised her at the end of the video that U2 fans worldwide would see this video, and now so will everyone else! Good luck on Sunday, Abi... I think you've found it! 🎤🎹🎶🌟🤩👏👏👏
