Show is about the person on the stage and not the 100. Turn off or way down the mics of the 100. From my seat it is just rude and distracting for those still sitting looking for that magic. There are some "The Voice" world shows where the coaches are a bunch of divas playing to the camera. And some amazing performance is going on behind them gets no turns. And what gets turns is just stupefying.
