The castle Dracula describes in England is the same castle from the Van Helsing book where Dracula first appeared as a vampire a little easter egg there

Castlevania is set in the late 15th century. Since Nocturne is set during the French Revolution, it'll be ~300 years later. Like you said, Alucard is immortal so he should still be alive, heck even Dracula should still be alive, but Alucard's town is in Romania some 1500 miles away from France so idk if he's gonna show up.

I have mixed feelings about the whole Hector Lenore plot but there is something beautiful about her way of going out being "I want to see what's so special about the sun." You forget sometimes the basic things that vampires are denied.

I like how they made Dracula and Lisa's bodies form a heart shape in the very last scene.

Its crazy cause they foreshadow Varney being death the entire season. Him allying himself with Dracula and Ratko because they kill a lot and him not giving a crap when threatened because he knows he could easily kill Ratko. He jumps over running water which vampires cant do. Even his character design the collar is popped out on one side so it looks like a scythe and his pupiless eyes show he doesnt have a soul. Theres way more teases but heres a few for you

The thing about Saint Germain is that I think he did what did more than just "for love". Death knew exactly what buttons to press with him. Germain was a vain and insecure academic who seemed to be raised on the traditions of alchemy, but never took it much seriously. The thing is, the philosophy of alchemy historically was quite grim. It demanded one to be entirely neutral, willing to sacrifice countless lives for the sake of achieving perfection. That's why so many fantasy shows about alchemy end up condemning its ultimate goal by the end (Fullmetal Alchemist for example). Had the principles of alchemy not turned out to be complete hogwash in the face of the enlightenment and modern science, we probably would have seen all sorts of nobility and academic types willing to sacrifice peasants and whatnot for the "good of mankind". Death challenged Saint Germain's pride and insecurity, telling him the only way to get back his beloved was to accept all the problematic aspects of alchemy's philosophy. And he fell for it, giving into greed and cruelty among other things.

In regards to Dracula and Lisa being alive I have no idea HOW it came about but I think its one of those ending things you say "You know what? I'm fine with it" From what I understand in the games no matter how many times Dracula is defeated he ALWAYS comes back to life so this is like a homage to that. A fantastic series that I am glad we both got to see and enjoy Abi and I can't wait for Nocturne

Game Facts: Dracula resurrects every 100 years after his death but his minions always look for ways to bring him back early. Alucard is most definitely immortal and doesn't age he's been active in the battle against the night up to 2036. Richter name is pronounced Rickter. He is probably the most well known Belmont under Trevor and Simon. Simon btw has defeated Dracula using only he's own strength,but Dracula managed to curse him. To undo it Dracula had to be destroyed after his resurrection. So Simon brought him back to life only to kill him again by himself.
