As a tree biologist I am amazed at how many levels this story has, like looking at nature under a microscope, it only gets more beautiful. Every story of Jesus is like this, he never said I am the sheep and you are the wool he always chose examples that keep on giving even when we know the biology behind it.

I love that part where you mention that we think we can "bear fruit" even without Christ. As written in Isaiah 64:6 "All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away."

God the Father has given humanity Jesus as the Living bread, all people and nation must awaken to understand this Truth. He gives to all food & drink in this life and blessed are they who understand this because they work with the Son to make humanity fruitful with good works and to prepare for the next life to come. I like to see and Listing to Dr Pitre because it is food and strength for the day!!!!

Uh, if Christ Jesus' rendition of Yahweh is a good father image, then He'd most assuredly *not* give us whatsoever we ask Him for; as some things we'd ask Him for would be definitively evil in their effects on us, and other things we shouldn't get; yet, as we should and would have to work for them to begin with... as a result, the passage "ask for whatsoever you will and it'll be done for you" is most definitely heretical in its very core; as any permissive parent is most definitely NOT a good parent to begin with. And if God's not a parent to us, then He lied to us, and thus is intrinsically evil as a being to begin with, and thus that confirms the reality that all spirits, without any exception, are really intrinsically deadly to mankind and have to be rejected- thus yielding full obedience to the Church when it says to stay away from all recourse to spirits to begin with- and that'd *have* to include God as He's a spirit to begin with at that.
