Clever on the lip to keep the clamp from popping off. Excellent setup.

Now you have to show us how you load the beast. Great job. Nice setup.
@abidefishing2 жыл бұрын
That’s pretty simple: put the wheels on, roll it to the bed of the truck, lift the back onto the tailgate, walk to the front of the boat where the wheels are, pick that side up, and slide it into the bed.

@@abidefishing yeah with them boonedox wheels it makes it really easy to load a big kayak my kayak is over 100 pounds and having them wheels makes it a breeze for this little shit (4.11) person to load this kayak into her truck

Hey buddy how's it going .That was a cool video buddy. Always wondered what kind of kayak you had & it's awesome that you went through to show how you have it setup. Merry Christmas to you & your family buddy. How was your Christmas was Santa Claus good to you. Santa Claus was really really good to me. He got one of the most important things I really need in life & that a pair of shoes that was special custom made very extremely wide in the toe box for my very extremely wide Toes that I have that are equally straight across.

It’s a Christmas miracle! I know you’ve been trying to get those for awhile. That’s great.

@@abidefishing yes I have and I finally got a pair. Like right now it is so awesome standing at the fuel pump putting fuel in my truck 🚛 parking my truck 🚛 and walking from the truck 🚛 to the truck stop and back in 38 degree temperature and my toes are warm and my feet are not hurting me is so awesome. & with the toe box being extra wide for my toes & they are not crushing or hurting me it's just so awesome. I remember when shoes used to crush and hurt my toes is why I hated shoes for so long & now I finally got a pair that fits my very extremely wide feet so comfortable. Thank you buddy I appreciate that thank you. Even the general manager couldn't believe how wide my foot was , how Fat my toes were , and how straight across my toes were.

Kinda a dumb question but how do you charge you 12v batteries?
@abidefishing2 жыл бұрын
Not a dumb question at all. I take them out of the boat and put them on a charger. One is a Battery Tender brand charger. The other came with the Lithium battery. I’m actually working on a video where I go over my tackle organization system and it includes my charging station information. Full disclosure: I don’t know when it’ll be finished, so just stay tuned.
It’s not a beauty contest. I just need something that works! Haha.

It's like they say "If it doesn't move and it's supposed to, use WD40. If it's not supposed to move and it is moving, use duct tape."

Why the zip ties on rod holders to wheel bar?
@abidefishing2 жыл бұрын
If I’m trolling, the lines are behind me rather than straight down. What happens is if I get a big bite, the holders will want to twist. So I put those zip ties on there to: 1. Keep the rod holders from spinning, but also 2. They’ll break away if needed. If I’m using heavy braid, I don’t want to get snagged on something and have the boat go sideways when I’m in current. This is rigid enough that it’ll set a hook, but not so stout that it could flip me.
