Can you do one on costs after buying from a btl perspective but also on a residential
@AbigaelAremu4 жыл бұрын
I think costs are very similar (excluding a few things) which is why I decided to cover all in one video. I’ll cover this as one of the questions in my next video which is actually a Q&A.

Love your videos sis. Quick question, do you save in general or save for a house and separately save for emergencies??? Thanks x
@AbigaelAremu4 жыл бұрын
Thank you girl! So I save in general which I then split into savings for investments (which includes my house) and then general savings xx

How much roughly do you think one should save each month for a house?
@AbigaelAremu4 жыл бұрын
I feel that’s a very personal thing based on your income and essential expenses, so wouldn’t want to advise you on how much you should save. What I will advise however is that you save the maximum you can do and try to stretch yourself. Hope that helps 🙂

I’m 17 turning 18 this year & I have already started savings I have opened a help to buy can you give me any tips about how that works too

Fantastic, well done! With a Help to Buy ISA account they give you a 25% bonus overall on what you save in the account - however this is up to a maximum of £3,000. Is it actually a help to buy, or lifetime ISA you have? As I know Help to buy has now been replaced with the Lifetime ISA... Lifetime ISA's give you a 25% bonus each tax year up to £4,000 (i.e. you could potentially get £1,000 each year you save)! I think these are generally better..

Abigael Aremu hi so I got the help to buy isa before they stopped doing it last year December
@AbigaelAremu4 жыл бұрын
Ok no worries, I’ve just seen that you can potentially transfer your help to buy to a lifetime isa if it’ll be worth your while. You can read more about it here - www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/help-to-buy-ISA/

Abigael Aremu What yearly salary do you think is good enough to save with because I currently do 16,000 -17,000 but I am also trying to earn money from my baking business and starting to be a representative in Avon so I can earn extra money for my help to buy isa account . I have also tried to cut down on buying things that I don’t actually need . I have also considered opening a account with £500 on monzo which I earn interest on for 6 or 1 year and adding it to my help to buy account but I’m not sure if it’s a good idea
