I think the real twist in this movie is going to be that the girl owns everything and thats actually her house and shes really several hundred years old. Some iterations of vampirism show the difference between a pure blood and someone whos turned. Pure bloods age extremely slowly. A vampire can be over 500 years old and still look like theyre twenty one. But a turned vampire is different. They dont age once theyre turned. Theyre stuck at the exact age they were when they were first bitten. And you see this in Daybreakers. Everyone who was ever bitten by a vampire is stuck looking the exact same way they were when they were bitten. So chances are Abigails been using her youth and knowledge for hundreds of years pulling the same "kidnap child" stunt as a means of feeding. And her prize money from Ballet is helping to fun her. Also kudos to the person who decided on sharp teeth instead of traditional fangs. Need more of those vampire designs these days. Really shows the savagery and ferocity when they show those things.

I saw this movie last Friday after work. All 6 people died (Dean, Rickles, Peter, Sammy, Lambert and Frank) except Joey because Abigail trusts her and knows that she will be a good mom to her son. Plus, Alisha Weir was absolutely amazing as Abigail.

And when Abigail's father came and was ready to eat Joey, Abigail confronted him by saying that Joey saved her and she's been with her the longest than her father was. And after that, Abigail's father let Joey go, both her and Abigail said their goodbyes and Joey drove off to see her son while enjoying one last piece of candy.

Watching these trailers now I’m reminded of how much they spoiled of the movie. Studios don’t give a shit about twists anymore, they will gladly give the twist away in the trailer if they think it will help sell the movie. This is why I don’t watch trailers these days past the first 15 seconds. If the movie grabs my interest in that time I stop watching the trailer and watch the movie. If they don’t catch my interest in 15 seconds, I just don’t watch it.
