ABIGAIL Ending Explained

The newest horror movie from Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Abigail, finishes with a lot of blood and death. The majority of Abigail's reviews have complimented the horror movie for being enjoyable and fun. Abigail, which stars Melissa Barrera and Dan Stevens among others, concludes with Joey and Frank as the only survivors.

Joey was never turned into a vampire. She was bitten because Frank wanted to control her, but he never turned her, he would have had to drain her almost to the point of death, then give her his blood, just like Lambert had done. That never happened. Joey walked away human with a gnarly bite mark.

Wrong, because the other Blondie didn't drink any blood + wasn't drained. She was turned into a "puppet" nonetheless

Abigail makes a comment that it takes a few centuries to learn the cool tricks. Maybe he thought that it was an automatic process but in fact requires a certain amount of intention and control from the master vampire. Probably why his fights was mostly about physical strength rather than tricks like Abigail's puppeteering and flight. It could also be that being turned into a vampire multiplies your strength per your body mass and it's not something that can be simply increased with time. Might explain why Abigail, although strong for a child her age, her strength only rivalled that of a well-built adult man and not to the point of superhuman in comparison.
