To be honest, I'm shocked. In a very pleasant shock. I love this work of art. It is so subtle and sensual to convey Gale's character, his fate and his situation that he has to go through... Gale's hopelessness in front of the goddess, Mystra's power and her confidence that Gale has nowhere to go and he will have to "bow down" to her, a glimmer of the wizard's hope that he has a future. Thank you so much for that, I love this song incredibly. Very inspiring.

Okay, totally my fault I didn't listen to this one before but I'm glad I did now after listening to Astarion's one and again, what a treat! The piano at the beggining is so beutiful and melancholic! This song almost feels like Gale's resignation for what he's done, no way to undo what's been done. You know, I saw a lot of people dunk on Gale for his backstory, but is what they say, love does make one blind. Now what remains is an uncaring goddess and the demand for him to end it all. Most people would not be able do deal with all that like he did. Also the "Death is but a word away" line gave me chills. The moment the verdict is given, it's just like that. A press of a button in your screen can give you a game over screen. A simple spell will the be the bringer of death to him and anything around in a terrifying radius. Another banger that I totally lost it for not hearing it before.

Yess! You're so right. I like trying to incorporate lines from the games directly into my lyrics (as you can see with all of them, really, they have at *least* one line directly from the game in there). But it fit so well for a hook, and I'm very glad it landed!

This is beautiful. Absolutely wonderfully enchanting. 💜 Gale is my favorite character and this is an absolutely amazing tribute to him. It tells his story, totally gives off the vibes of his character. Honestly could not have asked for a more perfect work of art to represent his character. Your work, effort, talent, and voice are all absolutely stunning 💜

It sounds as magical and majestic as can be. I've heard several of your songs on Spotify and was pleasantly impressed by all of them, especially one about Lae'zel. But it was this song that somehow impressed me with the depth of the sound and how unique your creativity is. You create such a sound with your fan music that through your voice you can hear the character himself, his story and moral convictions. It's very subtle and intimate. You're amazing!

Why am I here every day, multiple times... I swear this song has me in a chokehold, I just LOVE the lyrics, the tone, the atmosphere and the subtle dread that the clicky sounds add? They sounds like a clock to me, a constant reminder of the clocking running out. Just amazing work

A great song ! The music and the feeling conveyed by your voice are really impressive. It's a deep song, an emotional one, and a fascinating (and accurate!) energy to represent Gayle. I really love it, it's a song one cannot but keep it in their head I think. Certainly the best Baldur's Gate's song I have heard to date. But I'm quite quite surprised that it is not recongnised at fair value. As far as I'm concerned, in any case, it's a real pleasure to listen to it (a bit too often, no doubt^^). Besides, I'm French, so even if it's not very well known, I can say that this song crosses borders!
