D, have you seen The Guest with Dan Stevens!? It's my favorite role of his and such a fun, thrilling movie... and he gives such a great villainous performance. I'm definitely torn on "Abigail"... I'm also very picky when it comes to horror comedy and I feel like "Abigail" might be a bit too much comedy for my liking. Also, it's a huge bummer the trailers ruined things in the movie. The people cutting trailers nowadays need to be reigned in!!! Lol. Great review my friend 😊

Nice review. I get how horror comedy can be hit and miss. Its a very tricky juggling act that very few have pulled off. I am in no rush to see this one because from its marketing it seemed a bit too much like From Dusk Till Dawn and maybe if they kept the vampire aspect a secret in the marketing that would have been a neat surprise.

Definitely! I think this concept has been done way more effectively in films like From Dusk Til' Dawn for sure. The marketing was SUCH a letdown. No faith in the audience experience any more. 😒😑😒

I enjoyed this one. Not quite as much as The First Omen & Immaculate but it was fun. The lead actress was incredible! One to keep an eye on. Thankfully I didn’t watch the trailer. I try not to nowadays.
