There's so many songs in so many different styles by these guys, they don't let anything constrain their creativity musically. They often transition multiple times in a song between rap, rock, EDM, screamo - whatever feels *right* to get the message across. Their song "Lane Boy" is kind of their musical ethos in a song, written in direct response to their sudden explosion in popularity from 2013-2014 and the pressure that put on them from the industry. For straight singing, "Guns for Hands" is an older song with reggae influences in places that has Tyler sing and scream. For rapping and screaming, "Car Radio" is the song that put them on the map. And for a bit of everything, "Holding Onto You" is one of their best.

This way you can see how their music quality is almost ever gorgeous My favorite path is to leave their first album at the end, it's not lore related and Josh (drummer) isn't in the band yet

They went to the opening and closing night of their Columbus stop of this Clancy tour. They are easily in my top 5 bands. I live and am amazed by Ren, but Tyler is very much like Ren but almost a little more polished. Not in a bad way. Just the way he writes and is multi instrumental. Very unique talent. And Josh is the shit on drums!! I would absolutely love seeing you dive into Twenty One Pilots!

Hey Abi, you've found my absolute favourite band prior to Ren and The Big Push. I've had the pleasure to see them 4 times live here in the UK. Tyler & Josh are so talented and you'll love the lore too if you take the deep dive. The live shows never disappoint with their antics. You need to treat yourself to tickets for this tour. I'm very ill and I'm pretty much house and bed bound but with planning and determination and the Twenty one pilots staff & crew and venue management they have always helped get me to the live concerts, well the last 2 anyway. The Melanie in question is my lovely wife ❤. In her case, I would probably use the term "addicted" rather than "hooked". 😂 Just kidding.... I really like Twenty One Pilots too. We just bought all their vinyls and a truckload worth of merch. There's something about TOP that brings people together, and generally good people at that. My wife discovered this band during a somewhat difficult period in her life. Tyler and Josh's music as well as their fans helped her to come out of her shell and rediscover the benefits of enjoying music and sharing it with other people. For that, I'm very grateful towards the Clique. Personally, I wouldn't have chosen this song for Abigirl's first reaction (I usually perfer their more energetic songs, especially when Tyler screams!) but it was a somewhat strategic choice to give more context about the band. Abi, if you read this, please, pretty please do Tear In My Heart !
