Looks beautiful! This video is so unbelievably helpful! Thank you so much. I am considering making the trip with my 67 year old mother and 4 kids (15, 11, 9, 7), so having a visual of the challenging spots was great to prepare for!

I went last year on July 4th week, drove from CHICAGO to OREGON I went to see Multnomah Falls and this one, but went late around 7pm, was amazing, but I want to go again. 🙌

Awesome video! I do have one question. If I’m in a Pacifica van, so low clearance, would that parking area work for me too before the worst spot or should I park all the way by crooked finger road? Thank you!

Thank you! And Thank you for watching! And Yes, if you park at that pullout, it is before any serious road problems. It is literally right above the two bad spots, so when you park there, you will only walk down the hill 100 yards or so before you come to the really bad spot. It is one mile to the trailhead from that parking space, which puts you a lot closer than parking all the way up by Crooked Finger Road. If you use Google maps and map to the trailhead, you will know you are in the right area to park it shows you are about a mile from the trailhead. Pull out is on the right as you are driving in. Probably room for 3-4 cars.

@@JimandJuliesAdventures It's absolutely gorgeous down there but phew what a climb out. Thank goodness we were able to drive right to the trailhead I couldn't have made it any farther after coming back up 😆🤮
