i have an Able Carry 13. Low profile exterior, unconventional shape, lightweight and the only backpack by far that gives me “surprise elements”. Many lash points including hidden ones, hidden/discreet compartments, etc. Great that you did a video on this Daily backpack. Have been considering it for a while.

The water bottle oversight is massive. The water bottle is one of the heaviest, largest, most inflexible and most precarious things we carry on a regular basis.

It doesn't bother me that much personally, but I get it's super important to others.

I just purchased the Able 13 and I love it. My 15in MacBook Pro fits in it nicely. I was looking to see if a little more capacity might be a good option for traveling. I have kids so I usually end up carrying more than my own stuff.

Great review guys!! Such a more informed and different format for reviewing bags and not like the usual video found on YT. Subscribed and purchased this bag, waiting for delivery as it was pre-order, hoping the xpac is not too wrinkly, crispy sounding. Torn between this or the Max (ideally need both) great review of that one also on your channel. Keep up the good work and looking forward to seeing more content from you 👍

10:45 To anyone that has a thicker laptop like a Lenovo Thinkpad 15.6" (2 cm with rubber feet): This laptop WON'T FIT AT ALL in the Daily Backpack PLUS! They straight up lie on their website and don't even provide dimensions or some kind of warning, that it's only for slim laptops. Never was I more excited to get this bag, only to find out it's totally unusable for me. Other than that some stuff I liked about the bag: - The system for moving the sternum strap position is solid and not over-engineered. It's a bit cumbersome to move, but you do this only once for setting it up - The straps, padding, big water bottle pocket are all nice - The outer material (X-PAC) is extremely nice and robust And other features I really dislike: - The magnetic sternum strap latch. It hooks up when not in use and when you want to wear the bag, you have to disconnect them. This never happens with classic latches. Just use classic, non magnetic latches.. - The hidden small pocket on the outside: It's very hard to open and too small. To me it's a waste of material and space. I'd rather have a pocket that's located further down on the backside of the bag. - The inner hidden pocket is also a waste of material and space: The claim is that it is a good feature to have a hidden pocket. Why would this matter? If someone steals from you, they are not going to look inside the bag and steal something, they are going to steal the bag. It is a pseudo feature at best. It would be more practical to have a small pocket position over the table sleeve so it would actually be useful. If you want to hide an airtag, there is plenty of space in the outer pocket or just throw it down where the back padding is. - The diagonal outer pocket is practical for quick access, but it is too shallow when opened. You can't really see that well into it. And if production would allow it, it would be nice to have a "right-handed" option.. (release the strap on the right shoulder and then use the right hand to access the pocket) I don't think this was thought of otherwise there would an option to select "right/left-handed"

@@Nomads.Nation Yeah but with 43 USD in import taxes, 20 USD shipping and 35 USD for shipping it back (because they need a tracking number I pay more), this was a costly trial which I could have saved if they wouldn‘t put on wrong information on their website.. I‘m pissed 🙃

Love your videos! Keep it up and love it that you are showcasing Hong Kong so well in your videos! Quick question on the bag. Is it possible to put a 7.5cm diameter water bottle into the "sunglasses holder" inside the bag?

Another great review. I think you missed the hidden cash pocket and the fact that that the benefits of the webbing is supposed to create some sort of A frame design to help support the weight of the full pack better. I travelled with one of these when it first came out. For the price it was a great backpack. Kind of miss it.

Your review kind of sold it for me but I went for the Daily Plus, and I love it. Maybe you could do an update review for that one, too. It improved significantly over the Daily imho. And I want to add, that your reviews make me want to carry my bags (Able Carry Daily Plus, Wandrd Prvke 21l) in tote mode. You really can celebrate those handles.

Able carry makes returns very difficult. It is a tedious process with multiple, time consuming requirements which must be precisely executed within two week from the time their product arrives at your doorstep. One digit was mistakenly inaccurate in the tracting number of my return, which I was required to enter and submit. My return package arrived at their facility and they didn’t bother filing my return, or notify me. The return had my return address clearly legible. Able carry intentionally complicates their return process to thwart returns. Had I not followed up on my return, I am quite certain they would have merely resold my backpack, and not credited me.

Thank you for the review. Which one would you pick between Able Carry Daily Backpack (Corudura 1000D Nylon) or Bellroy Classic Backpack 20L. I'm bit concerned with Able's straps running on the bottom of the bag. Looks like they can wear out by putting it down on the ground after a while. I would use it for work/urban and occasional hike. Which one is better in your opinion? I mean build quality, comfort etc? Or is there other backpack you would recommend for similar price? Thank You.

Both are great for your needs but able carry will be a significantly better hiking bag IMO
