12.1 has been great in Beta - glad it's finally official now. The move is a nice little portable sketch pad - an idea maker. It has a role, for sure. It can also be used as a live controller - so for those that don't have the space or money - this is a cheaper alternative to using a full size Push. I also watched a video on how you can connect it to the Note app, on your iPhone - looks like they both sync cloud beats together, so far. It would be nice if they allowed you to control it - giving you another screen. Having 4 tracks is a sketch pad starter template, imo - it works and it makes sense. You are not making a full track on here. Drums, bass, harmony, and melody - those 4 come to mind, at least for me. Everything else - do it in the DAW. You could also opt to use one to sample the world too. I might have to get one. On 4 track limitation - "Limitations foster creativity" ~Wildbow. Any limitation that you can impose on yourself (internal) or have them imposed by someone (external) can improve your musical creativity. Just a thought.

Before I updated Ableton from 12 to 12.1, I could zoom in on a long sample anywhere using the magnifying glass tool. Now, after the update, I can't seem to do that anymore. It's making it a lot harder to chop up samples. Has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it?

Facts! They made it super tiny at the top. you'll have to drag it down to make it bigger. Otherwise make sure Overview is on: View->Overview
