Oh, I got a few video ideas. How to: get your synths to stab through the mix after a master How to: create a sub bass that goes below the normal "low threshold" via distortion. How to: properly implement a pre-master in a track and how to master with a pre-master How to: EQ out the high end to preserve it yet remove annoying frequencies How to: create sub bass movement like they do in riddim dubstep, each bass has a coordinated sub bass, kind of hard to replicate if you're using LFO based modulation to create basses (Serum) Lastly How to: properly compress a synth buss to reach optimal separation through the mix

Gabber is above 160 BPM. It's a good beginning for a oldschool kick, but modern kicks are nowhere near as easy as that ^^ But regarding as you're doing more and more hard dance music things (well, you've done 2 but that's better than nothing). I'd like to know how you'd do to make a hardstyle kick like the one in Ctrl Alt Delete by Noisecontrollers for example.

He'd have to do it on his mac with logic.

well the noisecontrollers kick in Ctr Alt Delete is pretty simple the magic trick with this kick where it goes kinda up and down is made with camel phat 3 vst and they automated the cutoff in the plugin which is a lopass fat with some resonance... not that hard to figure out xD but its not only the camelphat in the fx chain there is also some other distortion going on and eq

Noisecontrollers didnt use camelphat, he only used clip distortion and other native logic plugins.

DjBraini255 The fact it goes up and down has nothing to do with an automated cut-off in camelphat which is, as MrEdjani said, not even used in the chain. Pitching a hardstyle kick is done post process and each note is a specific file. I know how to made a hardstyle kick, I'm not asking for a tutorial. I just want to see what could Sadowick do if he tried. That's just curiosity.

It's also layered with sidechains, like any good kick, from hardcore to berghain

ive watched your videos for a long time, and may I just suggest you make your voice/mic volume louder on the videos. when you talk it is very quite and then the music comes in and is really loud. they just need to be closer together in volume
