Rachel, you make it look and sound so easy to accomplish all the technical details. An inspiration would be an understatement. I love your videos, productions, talent... *ahem*... You! I need more of your breakdown expainations...lol. An hour long, slow, step by step how to procedural setup, from beginning to end, workflow , would be fantastic! Maybe several hours... for extreme neuro-divergent brains like mine, suffering learning disabilities, your fluid expertise is most enjoyable and desirable. I know it takes time and effort to create content like that, and marvel that individuals like you can actually do what you do. Thank you so much for showing this. I have been so lost trying to get my Fantom 08 to be comfortable enough to play live through Ableton via DAW integration with the actual Roland sounds coming through as well. I've just been using my Maschine+ and my Fantom without my PC, separately. I would record something on each device and play them in sync together, then I would just record two separate tracks from the Maschine and the 08 into the pc. If I can figure out a way to do all of that through my 08 direct into ableton, that would be a dream come true!

That was a brilliantly informative video - thanks Rachel! Been considering a Fantom-08 for live use, but decided that the Juno D8 was probably sufficient since I didn't need all of the features of the Fantom. However the DAW control and Ableton integration is a bit of a game changer.

I agree with the comment about the Fantom 06. It just wants to make music right out of the box. It's taken me places I had never gone with my music just by making things so easily accessible. Even going deep into sound design is fairly simple. You may be the only person I've seen take proper advantage of the pads. (The only area that Roland fell a bit short on.) I never connected it to my DAW yet but now I can't wait to have my room back and try it with Ableton.
