You had me from "Each drum sound is made with Operator". Best presentation I found on youtube, genuinely bringing the complex IDM style that's not so obvious come up with.

Thank you for that! Really appreciate the feedback. Operator is the best - I want to do a whole series on it

@@toneparticle you should ! I want to make experimental noise music and some IDM. Would you recommend that on abletone wirh push 2 and an interface or hardware instead ? I have yet to find a live performance with said ableton and push.

I'm working with Logic, and this makes me just regret not taking up live as it seems to be making life a whole lot easier. Nevertheless, very helpful video and I will try and replicate as much of this as possible.

What version of live are you using? I can't set the length to 0.0.2 on mine, it automatically corrects the first parameter to 1 and I can't set it to any value below 1. Great technique by the way! Hoping to follow along with the tutorial but I'm stuck already Edit: My sample was too long, I just needed to turn off looping, highlight the portion I wanted to delete, right click and hit crop sample (then turn looping back on)

Glad you got it sorted. I'm using 9.7, but it should still work 👍
