I think this might be my new favourite KZbin channel fr. Every one of these videos hits the mark and then the actual music made is AWESOME (which is super rare imo)

What kind of software or plug-in is that keyboard?

You have always been one of my favorite teachers on this platform. I wish Ableton would give you a job, like localizing their software in French or something.
@SideBrain9 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! I do work very closely with Ableton here in Los Angeles. And even though I’m a French citizen (my dad is from Tunisia) and I studied 6 years of French in school. I have no idea how to speak French. But yes I do have the accent on lock (my first language is Hebrew)

@@SideBrain That's actually quite fascinating! Thank you for sharing some insight into your personal history. I'm also glad you have a close relationship with Ableton. You really are a blessing to this community.

@@SideBrain I'm so intrigued by this. I always just assumed you were French too lol. What language do you think in if you don't mind me asking? :)
@SideBrain9 ай бұрын
@@BIG_PASTAI moved to Los Angeles 16 years ago. So it’s a true hybrid when I speak English I think in English when I speak Hebrew I think in Hebrew. But English besides the accent does feel like a native language after all these years

Its excellent in making percussive sounds as well in a drumrack, and with the matrix system you can create modulair like beats!
@SideBrain9 ай бұрын
It is. The modulation system alone is amazing!

I’m sorry, I might have misspoke. I meant that I had a meeting/interview with Christian prior to making this video to get more insight into Meld but that was not documented.

I’ve noticed that in Meld the LFO will abruptly stop its modulation as soon as you are no longer triggering a note. In other words, the LFO has no release. Do you know of a way to provide a release to the LFO, so that it doesn’t immediately stop as soon as I’m no longer triggering a note?
@SideBrain7 ай бұрын
Can you elaborate? I just tried it by increasing the release on the volume envelope and than adding an LFO modulation on OSC 1 Macro 1 and I could still hear the modulation also after I release the note.
