Did this myself with a few adjustments. Left the expansion settings as they are, and increased the Above limit to -20db for less Downward Compression. Works a treat and makes OTT a littlle less OTT. Nice to be able to not touch anything over your upper limit for high mids, OTT destroys the sound in the highs imo. I separated my bands to 0-200-1000-4000-4000+

Don't get me wrong, it sounds cool, but doesn't this kind of defeat the purpose of using the OTT preset? OTT compresses the peaks and expands the valleys, but you've cancelled out the compression, and gone full expansion over the whole sound rather than just the valleys. So this seems to be a 4 band expander, rather than 4 band OTT. You could get a similar effect by using Ableton's compressor, set to the Expand mode. Or you could just use the default multiband compressor. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like the title of this video should be something about a '4 Band Expander' rather than OTT-focused.

Its a multiband upward expansion preset for the instrument rack that uses 4 separate instances of OTT. And you can kill the OTT effect to use it as a multiband splitter that works with any plugin! Unfortunately you cant easily change the frequency values without getting messy with the macro ranges.

You truly are a wizard and I love your tutorials. I wondered though, I'm.trying to do exactly what you're doing here so the kick comes through but I noticed you used a regular compressor and side chained to the kick, but can you not use the multiband side chain instead? Is there a difference?
