Watching someone actually work with a track that sounds amazing makes such a difference. There's plenty of people with good workflow tutorials and the tracks they are building are akin to your average Roland synth onboard demo. Very well explained here too. Funny Ean Golden reference elsewhere, the talking and gestures are very alike...which is a good thing. Very well done.

Nice job. Good work covering that new splicing mode, so dope. I'm impressed with the easy workflow using the rotaries up top, it seemed like a breeze for you to be able to keep the ball rolling without much a hitch and land on a finished project pretty quick. Was curious if the pads responded to aftertouch?
@SequenceOne9 жыл бұрын
+Aaron MacPhee Thanks for the feedback and yes the Push responds to aftertouch. Since Live 9.2 the aftertouch has been improved and you can control the threshold that will determine when it is generated with the Push!

are they're going to be more videos on push and ableton going into more detail on individual aspect of producing like samping and shaping and effecting the sounds, would be amazing, you seem new on youtube but you'd probably be able to develop courses/website you can charge a subscription too, just a thought haha, thanks for the vid was sweet after watching about 15 other vids on push this decided to go out with the old and in with the new !

+Zayd Bennseer Yes we are going to be making lot's more videos about music production, Ableton and the Push 2. You can sign up for the newsletter to receive updates about videos and courses on sequenceone [dot] org. Thanks for the feedback :)

What instrument/synth was being used for the chords at 8:20?
@SequenceOne9 жыл бұрын
+Ban Gent It was the synth Nexus. It can be created with Analog in Ableton or any synth really using a saw wave and the correct filter envelope. There is also an arpeggiator on the track with the style set to, "Chord Trigger" at 1/8th notes so the chords repeat. We're developing a class on creating this song with all native Ableton instruments and will post some videos soon about it.

+Grant L. probs buys them on beatport or some other website
@SequenceOne9 жыл бұрын
+Grant L. Hi Grant - Some of the drum sounds came from the VPS Phalanx Sampler, some from Ableton drum racks. Some of the synths I used were: Diva, Spire, Ableton Instruments and Nexus. sounds.beatport.com/ is a good place to find royalty free samples. Hope that helps! :)
