It's cool, I have a Push 2 and I don't really feel like it's obsolete here at all. But there are a few features that I would definitely enjoy having, and the interface functionality is a major wishlist item, if I were still schlepping Push to live gigs that would save me a TON of time.

yeah, the new prices mean the old Push won't be obsolete anytime soon. , £400 Push 2, £879 Push 3 controller, £1669 Push 3 standalone, Plus there are some niffty single board Ryzen computers on the market which could very easily be moded to turn a push 2 into a standalone ;0)

Thanks for the amazing video! The unit looks utterly stunning, there’s no doubt about that… and I will probably upgrade to it from 2 (but I won’t bother with the SA version) my only point of confusion is why everyone is so concerned about being standalone. I don’t get what’s so bad about working with computers ! 😄 why are they fixating on stepping away from it? It’s a bloody great resource! I also don’t get why are ableton selling themselves short when it comes to their music production presentation. They need to get it in them that people are proud of using it as a DAW and are getting great results from it. I’m wishing for more serious DAW features and an Ableton Push “Studio” next where the unit serves the production side not the performance side 🙏🏼
@ElNabulsi Жыл бұрын
@Adrian Stöger that’s 100% true for some people bro and I agree with you that it does affect some of us. My issue is that they ONLY focus on that problem and remedy it while there are other things that need to be battled too do you know what I mean ? So what I’m saying is, you solved the former issue with Push 3 so it’s time to sort the latter issues for studio based folk with “Push Studio” .

For many performers this will mean their computer and potentially their audio interface are no longer needed on stage In the studio, I think it’s compelling for folks who experiment a lot with gear - I’m always making little setups to play with and now I have one device that can sequence, record, add effects, and already places everything in an Ableton project, rather than either running long leads back to a computer that’s out of reach or adding to the setup a laptop, interface, sequencer, fx, and all associated power cables
