Yo love that! Definitely incorporating that! Question, after locking all movement together, can that be bound to an xy midi track pad? 🤞🤞

Interesting idea and good question. It would require a X/Y controller that would have support for multiple mappings and at the same time have them offset to each other. I think you could craft some kind of rack if you group your EQ8 to an audio effect rack, set the values accordingly and map those to Macro 1 for frequency and Macro 2 for Gain. Then use the M4L-device called "XY Pad" and map Macro 1 to X axis and Macro 2 for Y axis. I have to experiment and try it out if it works as I want it to. Because you need everything to move relative to each other and have a fixed ratio between everything. So it requires some thouight behind the min/max values of the macro knobs in the effect rack. If I come up with something I'll let you know.

Check the description now. I was able to use a XY Controller to control the filter movement. You can download the live pack i created from there. Have in mind that I'm using Live 11 now so you need to have that as well in order to open it. And Max 4 Live ofc

@@DaddaPsy omg that's so rad thank you! I'll check it out tonight after work! I'm building a live stream recording setup and use Touch OSC for a customizable aux midi controller as I find needs. Xy grids are just set to A and B for default reverb and delay, but an xy like this fascinates me to no end. Thanks for all the help and ideas and I can't wait to give em a whirl!

@@PapaBPoppin You're welcome! Just to be clear, the max 4 live device is a XY pad so I suppose, if you can control the XY pad M4L device, it should work. I wasn't able to replicate the exact behaviour of the actual filter movement but I think if you just study how I did the mapping on the rack, you can tweak that to your liking =)
