Your picture reminds me of the composer Krzysztof Penderecki in his younger days - even the glasses! Thanks for the Wavetable tutorial. It was very helpful.

Wavetable is a super synth. Combined with the ableton plugins you can produce massive sounds.

Exactly. I Love it! I think I'll do another Wavetable synth sound design video for next Sunday. Any ideas on what type of sound should I create? 🤘😎

@@Busiless Awesome!!! Well sure...in the remix of Calvin Harris VS Mike Pickering - Pray to God, there are strings accented in the last drop. It would be great if you could make something like that with Wavetable.

I have the same headphones. Great sound but the rubber cover falls apart. Maybe I have sharp ears.

Hi. Mine are still ok, but I don't use them everyday. I'll be hunting for an open back ones soon probably, any suggestions? 🤘😎

@@Busiless Sony MDR 7506 were always my favourite headphones. They do also have the peeling rubber issue, but not as bad as the ATs.

Question for ya, my guy..... Have you got any suggestions about a good way to get modulations to kick in only once the amp envelope has reached the release stage? (Kinda like an after-touch LFO or envelope)
@Busiless Жыл бұрын
Hi. That’s interesting, I’ll try to run some experiments today to see what I can come up with 🤘😎

kzbin.info/www/bejne/nn_Roadnbthprac - Check that out - I made it in Wavetable and Drift, but it should work in every synth actually (that can assign negative values to modified parameters ;) )

Is there a way to script presets for wavetable?
@Busiless7 ай бұрын
Hi. As far as I know the Ableton preset files are zip files. You just need to change the file extension and then inside there’s an xml file so probably there is a way 😉

Can you do an exercise with me and explain? Or do you know a video that includes everything I need to do for school so I can do it? I will create a synthesizer with specific features and controls in Ableton Live: 2 oscillators, each offering triangle, square, and sawtooth waveforms. 1 State Variable Filter (SVF filter) offering filter types: none, lowpass, highpass, and notch. 1 filter envelope triggered by key press and velocity. 1 volume envelope triggered by key press and velocity. Additionally, the synthesizer should have an Ableton Live look and feel, including controls for: Selection of waveforms for the two oscillators. Filter: Cutoff and Resonance. Balance between the two oscillators (Hint: m4l.Bal1 object). Envelopes for Attack, Decay, Sustain, and Release for each envelope. Volume (Gain). Fine-tuning of the oscillators. Integration of a chorus effect (Chorus Depth, Chorus Rate, Chorus Delay). --> Patchfile THANKS IN ADVANCE :)

Hi. Not sure if I understand 😅I guess you are making a vst? Or a hardware synth? And just in general I know in theory how these work (even some bits from electronic classes at my school) but have no expertise in building a synth at all 🤷♂️. I could help you possibly with testing though. 🤘😎
