The only reason john played lead on this song instead of george is because during the bands let it be sessions george decided to quit the band so while george wasnt there they were practicing get back and eventually they convinced george to come back but that also meant that Now since john already had lead george had to play rhythm guitar.

I uploaded Get Back earlier today as I normally would, it was blocked worldwide. Maybe it's a compliment with our sound being too close. I tried several tactics such as slowing the video down and speeding it up, still blocked worldwide. I found that breaking it in half the way I did works. If anyone knows a better work around let me know. We'd love to post a normal version

Yeah KZbin's getting a bit scary with copyright claiming - I've never tried this but I've heard that the first person to claim the video gets it, so if you uploaded it to 2 channels at once and claimed copyright on yourself that might be a way around it. Obviously I'm pretty skeptical of this but I'd love to see someone figure out if this is possible.

ManWithNoExpression - Thats a good idea. These content notifications were coming in the second the video finished processing. There might not be time to even claim it yourself. This must have been flagged by a database it runs through as its processing, as opposed to a manual claim which also can and has happened to my Hotel California video. I disputed that claim twice and then let it settle and delete it rather than getting a strike, its their composition after all

But it's certainly fair use, especially since you aren't even using the recording at all. KZbin just doesn't actually care enough to take your claim disputes seriously. pandui - Yes, you must google ‘beatles rooftop full dailymotion’ There is video of the beatles doing this live as their ‘final concert’ for the film ‘Get Back’ later retitled to Let it Be. The film was made to document the beatles writing an album, thus hours upon hours of footage and audio exist of them writing the album as well songs from Abbey Road and solo careers. Get Back is one of the songs you can hear on the Bootleg audio from the Let it Be sessions. George can be heard soloing on Get Back rather aimlessly while John has some structured ideas. I don’t believe The Beatles had any ego when it came to parts. John had ideas, George let him play them. Same thing happened with You Cant Do That. The only issue The Beatles had during the time is they were ready for the next thing, all four of them. The fighting is exaggerated. Sorry, for the long answer to the simple question. Yes John did the solo and go watch the Rooftop Concert on Dailymotion now!
