OK and here’s the thing it’s entirely possible to do it as well Because in the comics, his polkadots aren’t just like fireballs or whatever they’re supposed to be in this movie, but they have like so many uses. He uses some of them to fly. He’s some of them as a buzz saw and most importantly for my argument he uses some of them as portals.

@@raymonreiz good point!! i personally like the headcanon of the dots/virus reforming his body because they/it needs a host to exist in this dimension. after being crushed to a pulp, one can imagine it could take a while until he's even a fully fleshed out human being again. maybe he's being experimented on or held on observation by the govt or star labs or lex corp or whatever. there's a lot of plausible scenarios for his return

The only person that would and could have given this character a chance, is James Gunn, he made and told this story for Polka Dot man after basically making it up. The only realistic way he would have gotten a show, is if James Gunn wanted to make him one, but he didnt, he wanted to make Peacemaker. If he did want to make one it could have been very good too. The problem is the hypothetical youre presenting would remove from the equation, the decisions of the person thats the very reason youre making the hypothetical Its not a bad desire to want a show for a character you like, but the things you assert have little basis in reason
