You have mentioned that sensitization of Rh negative mother (primigravida)produce IgG antibodies. Then why 1st child is usually NOT affected? Books mention that during 1st pregnancy IgM type r produced which cannot pass across the placenta hence 1st child is not affected.

Mam O Blood group are universal Donor for Red Cell just not for whole blood because in there plasma have both the antibodies A and B. And AB blood group are universal Recipient for Red cells
