Thanks! We are learning a lot about the boat, using it, boat systems, etc. It's a journey to learn all about this, and then take the boat places.

1:31 We had a 2004 Sesa Ray Sundancer, we lived part time on it for 11 years, making the bed in the v-berth was my least favorite thing to do. 3:02 Waking up on a boat is amazing. Carolina Beach is beautiful. Thank you for sharing the cruise.

Looks like we shared similar experiences. Putting sheets on the V-berth is not easy, but I've found pulling out the cushions, fitting the foot-end first, and then pushing it in works much quicker than head (wide) end first. We also have a foam mattress-topper which make it thicker and way more comfortable. I'll lie in the V-berth and look in the salon and think the boat is really bigger than what it is. It does have a very usable floor plan. Thanks for checking in :-)

Next one coming up beginning of May - I'm riding across Ohio on the Ohio-to-Erie trail on my bike. After that, we'll probably do another boat trip around Independence Day, and then next year we're planning on sailing it from SC all the way to Burlington VT. Should take us about 6-7 weeks. I filled up the tank in Southport with 45 gallons for about 9.5 hours at ~2000rpm. So, about 5gph. Coming back we did 5.5 hours from Southport with a 20gallon refill. Seems too low but I'll take it. I did get on plane coming back for about 30 seconds but then pulled back on the throttle. I just wanted to take it slow, enjoy the scenery, and the lower fuel burn. Cheers!
