Not necessarily. Thousands of people commit suicide every year due to horrific illnesses and suffering. They'd rather be dead than suffer one minute longer. Have you ever had your dog or cat put to sleep so he will no longer suffer? I am not pro-abortion, but quality of life matters. There's something called a "mercy killing." It's not morally right, but it can be a gift in some situations.

@@NicolesNaturals You went from suicide (self inflicted) to people who “rather be dead”, (self destruction), like assisted suicide programs in Canada. To then talking about killing a dog or cat who doesn’t have a choice and has no idea what’s happening… if we apply that to a human aka someone else making the choice to kill someone because they’re on life support, it’s still murder if it’s not their choice.

I’ve said this before in a comment but I think it’s important for some people to hear. I was 21 when I got pregnant and I was raped. I ALMOST had an abortion. Set up the appointment showed up they showed me an ultrasound and I panicked and said I can’t do this. They sent me to an obgyn and today I have a beautiful 3 year old that I look at every day and absolutely adore. I do not see my rapist. I see a beautiful little girl that has changed my life in ways I couldn’t have imagined before and created a love I didn’t know was possible. She’s beautiful and I wouldn’t trade her for the world; I want to cry every time I think about that I was about to do and I’m so glad I stopped it and she is literally the best thing that’s ever happened to me.

Like if he answered Yes, she would be like "oh, ok, then I'll denounce abortion and come over to your side". It's like if you can Only save One individual from a sinking ship, it's best to just let everyone drown. Pathetic thinking at its best. Did the 1st abolishionist of slavery just quit because they lost their 1st battle? No, they kept going. You don't give up the whole fight because of one failed attempt. As for the worn out "the kids will suffer I poverty" line. I was born in a 3rd world country about 50 years ago. My parents were dirt poor as children and in early adulthood. Did the abort any kids because they were Living in poverty?...Heck NO! The were two brave hard working individuals who didn't make excuses. They stood up and faced life head on. They had Heart. Whining and complaining like this woman in this video would help them with nothing. She is in America and yet complains like a spoiled brat that didn't get two plates of lobster and stake for breakfast. Blind and ungrateful. I had an Aunt that raised 12 kids. She would slap the doughnut out this woman's mouth if she heard her say she was going to abort her child because she couldn't afford to raise it in America. They're have been countless 3rd world couples that have come to America and raised multiple children despite starting at the bottom dirt poor. Yet woman like this one on here are Pathetically weak. They say that they can't afford a kid, yet they will continue to spend money on cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, and many other unnecessary and useless items. It's all about their selfish desires. Let's vote to take ALL the money from Abortion mills/clinics and revamp the Foster Care system and the like to care for the children. Also use some of that money to help single mom's that have the courage to keep their babies. Educate women and men to respect their bodies and vet the individual they will marry. Sex before marriage is Very unwise. For the women AND men who are hell-bent on being irresponsible sexually, Auomatic vasectomy and hysterectomy (or at a minimum tubeligation). If you can't be responsible on your own, We will help you. They majority of the cost will be deducted from their paycheck each week. Don't want to pay, prison sentence for 5 years, then during parol hearing they can let us know if they are ready to handle the business at hand. This seems harsh, but killing a kid is no faint act.

So sick of people using the foster kid argument. Foster kids spend, on average, 2 years in foster care. So it’s not how people make it out to be. Foster care is a messed up system but you have Progressives to thank for the horrible system. I had abuse, abandonment, other traumatic events happen to me and my siblings. BUT had my mother aborted me, I wouldn’t have been abused but I also wouldn’t have grown up to help people in need. Or all the animals I’ve helped. Or all the friends I’ve helped. It would have also taken my sons life away who is now married and a wonderful husband to his wife. I would have missed being adopted by an awesome family. Trips to the beach, and Disney World. Going to church. Birthday parties. Getting my first puppy. Summers in the mountains and at VBS. Hanging out with my friends and school plays. So much good that wouldn’t have been in the world so I could have avoided part of my childhood being messed up? I WAS A FOSTER KID. DO NOT USE ME. I HAVE FRIENDS WHO WERE FOSTER KIDS I WOULDNT HAVE WANTED YOU TO KILL THEM EITHER.
@AmreeHolliday
@AmreeHolliday Жыл бұрын
Foster kids aren’t the product of unwanted parents. Their parents desperately wanted them, but themselves hit rock bottom with mental illness, drug addiction, maybe both parents have passed, I have also seen kids removed unwarranted and parents fighting and jumping through every hoop for years tryin to get their kids back and cps refuse. Anyways my point is baby’s saved from abortion through adoption will never see foster care, they won’t ever be in the system, they have a family long before they are even born. Foster care children are not children of parents who didn’t want them because if that was the case, the state need not take them as the children would have already been adopted. Foster care exist for the child’s safety until family reunification. The foster care argument is just a bad one because adoption and foster care are not the same. Also to kill a child of possible hardship later on in life is nuts. You don’t have to be a foster child to experience traumatic events so basing abortion rights off that argument as a means to make murder seems morally justified is absurdity. I am about to go off on a side tangent but I think it’s important. I have had this theory for awhile that girls don’t want to carry a baby, bond with it, deliver it, then go through the hardship of handing it over, perhaps some are afraid they will get to that point and not be able to give up their child. I assumed this why women were choosing abortion and over adoption but then we see young women having babies and just tossing them away like they are nothing, trying to hide the fact they had a baby. I just don’t know what to make out of it.

Also people’s arguments about children in the foster system not getting adopted is misunderstood as well. The purpose of the foster system is reunification. It is to care for children whose parents are unable to (due to lack of resources/home, addictions or imprisonment etc). It is supposed to be temporary for the children who enter it. Of course sometimes reunification doesn’t end up happening and those unfortunately are the children who end up staying in the system. I agree that the system should be reformed to better care for and protect these children, but the arguments concerning the failure of the foster system are a reason to justify abortion are not correct. Another fun fact: Given enough time and resources, Adolf Hitler would have used abortion to end European Judaism. He ultimately resorted to death camps due to the urgency of his “final solution.” It’s fun to think that United States abortions are the living legacy of Stalin and Hitler. Good stuff.

@johnrambo8796 I'll assume english isn't your first language and that you disagree with the points made by the abolitionist, due to you saying "idiot science" and "antiquated book". Science is nothing more than a system that looks at the process of how materials/subjects act, based on a hypnosis, repeated observation, and peer review. In no way is organic science controlling. It's simply descriptive, those that wish to guide/manipulate narratives in place of science are the ones seeking control. In regards to the "antiquated book", you're again missing the mark, as I'm sure you mean outdated and not simply old-fashioned. As an old-fashioned book, the Bible makes a transcendental argument for the existence for God. Which inturn gives justification for all presumed meta physical principles such as logic, truth, language, math, and more, that many claim to be social constructs and or a result of evolution. The Bible isn't a control mechanism, it's guidance to those who seek Truth(God). Though mans pursuit of Truth can be tainted/corrupted often by the pursuit of knowledge/power, this doesn't degrade nor discount Truth. If it the Bible was based in control, it wouldn't be able to account for and make way for those who may and those that are struggling to make proper decisions. I highly recommend you look into TAG, the transcendental argument for God, as well as eastern orthodox christianity. As it seems you view the Bible in a very modern view, and likely craft your understanding of christianity to that of the catholic worldview. My apologies for the lengthy response.

This is a part of thinking. Advancing arguments and holding your beliefs out for public scrutiny to see if they can withstand criticism-particularly those you hold that have never been challenged. The reason she sounds hypocritical is because she cannot understand she’s making hypocritical arguments which no one ought to find convincing. I’m 100% pro abortion, but the reason she’s finding it so difficult to overcome his arguments is because the problems she raises with them aren’t well thought out. I’ve simply never heard a ghost of a compelling argument for why I would ever agree to support legislation authorizing our public employees to force women to remain pregnant against their will-especially upon threat or penalty of criminal consequences. I’m certainly open to listening to them, but cannot imagine one I think people ought to find justifies this kind of government power over women that hasn’t been made already. She’s not recognizing the bait and switch built into the way this fellow is arguing-conflating a right to life, with a right to life even if that means using someone else’s body against their will-as if those were somehow the same thing. Here’s the actual hypocrisy-free version: Everybody, born or unborn, has an equal right to life. Nobody, born or unborn, has a right to use someone else’s body against their will, even if they would die without it. The hypocrisy of abortion prohibition (or “abolition”, as they have cleverly rebranded to linguistically align themselves with slavery abolitionists and make those who oppose them “anti-abolitionists” without saying so, lol), is that it is masquerading as equal rights for the born and unborn-while in fact it is actually the demand for EXTRA rights for the fetus which can only be purchased by the forced surrender of a woman’s right not to be forced to remain pregnant against her will. The hypocrisy-free position would be you have a right to life, no matter who you are-born or unborn. You have zero right-born or unborn-to use someone else’s body against their will to remain alive. The hypocritical position is: You have zero right to life if that involves the use of someone else’s body against their will…if you’re already born. If you’re unborn, we’ll abandon that principle and standard and an exception is demanded.

I don't know why people always use the argument of "my life was great" There are plenty of people who have ended their lives for your exact situation or for plenty of other situations, whether they were born into poverty, borny into abuse, born with parents who are drug addicts, are put through hell. Saying "my life is great" will never be a good argument. The hypothetical of something does not make it so. You can't just say well because it could have happened it did, that's just simply not how it works. The cells forming in your body cannot perceive life, they don't have the ability to feel pain, they don't have the ability to want or not want something. Also what would you say to a child that was born into poverty, violence, or abuse saying "I wish I was never born" would you just say to them... "well you should be grateful you at least got the chance!" This whole situation also begs the question.. are you all vegan as well? because if not, then you'd all be incredibly hypocritical.

I was clinically depressed for over a decade, cycled through almost a dozen different med, hospitalized for suicide attempt. It was more of a cry for help, as I could never go through with a serious attempt, even though I thought about it every day for years. I struggled with drug abuse for almost as long as I struggled with depression. I hated living for most of my life and by the time I was 14 I couldn't see myself living past high school, or past the following year once I was out of school. I could never bring myself to end my life, and although I was not religious during that time, I hoped that my pain would lead to some good. Reading the Bible and learning about Jesus changed my life. I urge anyone who is suffering to read the Bible, seeking to know Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ saved my life and it is not to late for anyone who is still alive right now. Your schooling systems are owned by Jesuits and are based off of the 7 sacred sciences of kabbalah and masonry, so I wouldn’t believe anything that you were taught in school as it is all to get you to think a certain way. The world is being moved in the direction of evil being called good and good being called evil. It is painfully obvious to those who can see it. Abortion is child sacrifice for the modern age and has been set up that way on purpose. I agree life is complex. It is so complex that in my humble opinion, through my study and research that only the true creator God YHWH of the bible has the right to determine whether abortion is good or not. You are going off of your life experience of 10 years of what man’s science has indoctrinated you into believing. It is science falsely so called and the wisdom of man, which is foolishness to God. I am going off of 28 years of indoctrination, 2 years of studying the world and 3 years of walking with Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. There is a difference between going to church, being religious and knowing God. You have to want to know him. I thank you for your reply, I will pray that God opens your eyes to the truth.

@@golf869 Not even close. Your child is much more valuable than a physiologically unviable fetus before 19 weeks. There's a reason most doctors, biologists, physicians, etc support abortion care until 19 weeks even tho we know human life begins at conception.

Because lots of young girls at a certain age start becoming women and their bodies behave like an adult female's before the age of consent. For good or for bad, it has become a common practice to give these young ladies birth control pills even if it is just to "regulate" their cycle. Meaning, to make it predictable. Even if it is for no other reason than for that. Then as these young ladies reach their 30's, they begin to really wonder why they are having so many female related health issues.

Great work you’re doing. I love debating with people and it seems to be a lost art today. It’s weird as long as someone repeats what they believe is reality they believe it to be true. Zero thoughtfulness these college kids have nowadays. Keep up the great work.

I am a severely lapsed catholic and a dyed-in-the-wool social democrat- thats liberal in your language, imprecise a translation as it is- and yet If I leave your religious arguments, I still find myself compelled to agree. The merest clump of cells represent the initiation of the human life cycle, and we jealously guard the right of everyone to live, at least in law, and make scant few exceptions such as when the end of life is clearly at hand. The arguments which make the fetus dispensible universally have easily found defects. I am happy to make common ground with these people, because I dont want to be killed and I am happy to extend this presumption to any human.

She said it was in Nevada but she’s an idiot. That’s not a thing here in Nevada. She is talking about the “zone of death” in the Idaho section of Yellowstone where no one lives and is run by wyoming. Because no one lives there, there is no one to be on the jury and therefor the person goes free. It’s a bad argument
