Oh my gosh! I want to paint this so bad! I hope I can. I actually haven't been able to paint in two months. It's weird, I don't know why. I used to paint everyday, sometimes for hours. I've painted 80 of your paintings. But lately, I just can't do it. I want to, but I can't. Any advice for this? I'd love to be able to paint again soon.

Perhaps just pick up and brush and put some color on a canvas. Or just pick a couple of specific new techniques you want to try and master without any pressure to produce a painting. Artist block is real and sometimes difficult to overcome, but I know you can do it 💟

Hi I'm a beginner 😬 and I've painted a blk and white ghost in the woods which I'm really proud of but I don't know the best way to finnish it ,I saw a female artist was over her dry art with a medium then varnish it ,but I haven't seen anyone else do this ?I also bought a aerosol art varnish spray, could I just use this as the vanish by brush I heard 1st timers ruin their work ?help please?🙏

No worries, You can use any varnish for art acrylic but you are right its the most dangerous part of the painting. My biggest tip is to Vanish on a mild day no extreme weather or temp. No pets or pet hair close by. Follow instructions exactly and now most companies have a youtube channel with Demo videos for their product. I prefer spray varnish but fumes can be a deal. My mom loves brush on. Brush on needs patients , follow instructions to the letter and use a non shedding soft brush that you wash the dickens out of after

Cinnamon, I'm not sure what your pre-sketch actually said but on my screen it looks like it says "Good news Jo". I needed that. I'm scheduled for surgery on Friday and I was sitting here looking at my pre-op blood work. Some things are off. Cross your fingers for me that the blood work is minor, and that the surgery goes well. This is typically an outpatient minor surgery but my bleeding disorder means I'll be admitted and monitored. I need good news. 😬
