Three albums back Aborted achieved this kind of proficiency that makes me enjoy literally everything they record. Sometimes I have this urge to listen to tech death, and specifically it has to be Aborted. "Global...", "Necrotic..." and "Retrogore", together with "Archaic...", "Haematobic" and "Goremageddon...", are all top notch albums and I adore all of them. Looking forward to another epic CD.

psycold yes, Mendel is a one of a kind ;) they have been to my home city two times, and all I can say - they easily beat every band they have been touring with - Septicflesh, Kreator, Carcass. I dont have words to express how I love these guys, bc they really made one of the best art acts globally.

Hugue Bouchard deathgrind is more a mix of death metal and grindcore (since grindcore already had death metal influence, deathgrind sounds closer to death metal). Deathcore is a mixture of death metal and hardcore. I feel that Aborted leans more toward Death Metal than Deathcore.

I have Coronary Reconstruction but I was never able to get a physical copy of The Haematobic EP...in fact I remember years ago I ordered a copy from Ebay or something and they sent me the completely wrong CD because it was mislabeled. I also have the Christ Denied split album they did, a copy of the original Engineering The Dead release plus pretty much every digipack or special edition they released that has bonus tracks. I don't have the Strychnine.213 CD with the bonus track Slaughtered but I do have an LP of it. I remember that album came with a medical waste bag, I think one of the versions came with fake severed limbs also. Also still need Purity of Perversion but that is much easier to find. Been collecting Aborted albums since Goremageddon came out.
